Levo Gen 2 2020 Levo belt slip?

This morning my work commute was pretty wet and about halfway through it the motor stopped driving the wheel despite the motor working. I'll tear down the assembly when I get home later and see for sure what went on.

For now, I am assuming it is because the belt was wet and was slipping, can anyone confirm this could be the case?

I'm sure that there are much more qualified people that understand the mechanism and will respond, but if water is reaching your belt, I'd suggest you have much more significant worries.

Don't know if water is getting there. Just a best guess seeing as I have 2600 miles without issue and it slipped in some very wet conditions this monring.

If the belt has broken is it true that the motor needs replacing and not just the belt?

If motor is still in under warranty then they will replace whole motor, if it's out of warranty you (i.e. qualified mechanic) can replace the belt only ...
