Yeah I saw that. It's the rc2 2018 model. I believe the equivalent grip2 model for 2019 is night and day better. £300 better?!? Orange lowers too. Must resist, must stealth.

Anyone Photoshop on some orange lowers to the bike for me?

I don't like that it's not quick release.

Couple of questions guys...

Is it an easy/cheap change to get qr?
Also, can you convert this to 2019 spec?

That's brilliant! Thanks chap. Gives me a real idea of what it looks like. Now I've got a massive dilemma.

So I wasn't 100% on black or orange lowers And if I was, I don't ask just buy. Showed the other half (and she knows how much i love orange) she said it's too garish. I kinda agree now as nothing else is orange. Plus I kinda feel that orange lowers are for sponsored riders, like a red bull helmet. You've got to earn it, not buy it.

Mind made up. Black!

Not getting much joy today. My xx1 cassette is too worm to shift smooth on the levo and the nx cassette doesn't fit because of the XD driver.

So I need a new cassette

Here's some more weight pictures of the standard components. I'll get some pics of the new bits that have been added the weekend.

Boy am I jealous! I had my 2018 levo carbon comp XL down to 47.5 pounds but yours is so much lower. Had to sell that bike to a coworker because it was just too big for me, just bought the wrong size. Always fighting the front end in fast down hills. Now have the large 2018 comp levo all aluminum and haven't weighed yet but that sucker is noticeably heavier than my first one. Bunny hopping and sudden changes are not as easy with the addition of the 4 to 5 pounds. Lifting it over fences is also loads of fun.
By the way thanks for the weight measurements on those stock parts that you are taking off and the replacements. I'm keeping the list and will look forward to your final spreadsheet with weights. That'll help us know how much we can reduce weight and how much coin involved for that weight loss on each part.

You're very welcome. Glad I could help and give some people an insight into mods and weight reduction.

More ti bolts going on tomorrow. People take the piss, yeah it's just bolts. I know I've saved 50g from just the brake bolts alone. 50 here, 100 there and it's 1\4 kilo before you know it. They cost like £12.

Can't wait to ride the bike this weekend in it's new guise. Might even get the news decals on tomorrow.

Not only do they look bling, i've taken 44g off with just 4x bolts. For the princely sum of £10.

One bolt with all the washers weighed 14g.

I've had those tapered ti bolts before. The rainbow colour is quite washed out on them. The risk ones have a more substantial head and much better colours. I ended replacing my already replaced bolts with those.

Also got these the other day...

Ti rainbow chain ring bolts. I don't think they're long enough though 3.5mm.

This is the brand you are using?
Stem Fixing Bolts Titanium Ti M5*18/20mm MTB Mountain Bike Screws 6PCS W/Washers | eBay
It is double the price of the ones that I find before. Wondering if there is any quality difference or just finish.

My set of 4 Magura black bolts M6x16mm for one Caliper (203mm adapter mount), weighs only 20g. Dont know if I will spend 20 EUR for saving maybe 20g on 8 bolts and some bling color...

Still, you sad that M5 smaller rental steel stem bolt weighs wapping 14g? This I just can't believe, that this 6 set of bolts would weighs 14x6=84g?
Renthal Stem Bolts for Apex / Apex 35 - 6 pcs. - silver

Our wifes should see this conversation, talking about 10g bolts and bike+rider setup is close or over 100kg....:ROFLMAO::p

There was hardly any saving on the stem bolts. I was referring to the brake caliper bolts.

Yes, that's the make Risk. Really nice. Much better than the taper ones. I had a taper one strip my brand new forks on a previous bike

These are a bit of extravagance. Not cheap £245. Magnesium pedals with titanium axles.

This is my third set, the other two have failed. They are a bit fragile, but look the bollocks and are probably half the weight of similar pedals.

*They do have a rider limit of 85kg
