I would of joined you as never been round there before, only had my bike 2 weeks but another time for sure. Be good to get shown around. No too far away from there either.
For me I would rather the extra bit of weight of the larger battery over the massive expense of buying a 2nd battery and then having to carry that around with you anyways.
This is such a good thing, I had previously discounted any bikes with the Shimano motor due to the smaller capacity battery.
This for me opens them up as an option
As you say I think it's a safe assumption the new motor will be out a similar watt figure if not slightly higher.
I'm looking forward to a few test rides once lockdown eases and see which I fancy.
A 2nd plug for RaceCo. 2 friends have bought from them and can't speak highly enough of them.
I will be buying my 1st Emtb from them once this situation eases.
I am actually pretty handy with maintenance etc but I like the idea of a good local dealer for any issues. The online direct from manufacturer does not appeal as it just seems like it would be a real hassle if there were any issues/warranty claims.
Luckily there is a very good dealer reasonably...
I'm in the same boat as you, have been looking for a while and nothing else seem to match the cube in terms of spec for the price. Once this lockdown situation eases I will go test ride and make sure it fits me ok.
