A frameset option would be great, it would save all the headache of replacing OEM parts that we don't want. But it also allows us to upgrade without buying a complete bike.
+1 for the bottle cage Range Extender.
I would like to see a smaller swappable internal battery for shorter warmup days to make the bike lighter. I would to also see is a "Frame, Motor, Battery and Controller package" instead a full bike, since the OEM parts aren't best.
Actually they’re pretty decent, I rode the Alloy version almost for a year, before upgrading to the carbon versions. The major difference I found was that Carbon version was much stiffer, especially on the trails.
Been planning on getting a second wheels for riding in urban city riding and tours. Currently have a set Bontrager Line Elite (Carbon) wheels with a Minion DHF 2.5”, Aggressor 2.5” and Tannus Tubeless Armor. These are great on dirt, but sprints on the pavement is a drag. Recently picked up a new...
I always wondered, might not be worth to them, if Bosch would have produced a 300w Power tube, for those short ride days and even for bike park with lifts. I assume is could in theory be close to half of the weight of the original battery.
I'll prefaced this, by saying I took this measures as based as I could, so there could be some inaccuracies. If anybody has insight about magnets and how the possible positioning and direction plays a part in sensors, please jump in.
Wanted to share something, some readings I took about awhile...
The Error can still happen, but now there's no message now, just a massive drag while pedaling. I had this happen a few times, and they reset reinstalled the FW, it cleared the error and it just back to pedaling normal. For my experience, I always get errors, whenever I ride over any those large...
Officially no, not that I know. But from what I do know and what you’re describing sounds like you have either of of the newer mode, Tour+ (Magic Tour) or eMTB-Lite. Both of those modes have Pedal Boost feature. I can’t remember, if the eMTB had it in previous firmware.
This might be confusing...
What you're describing sounds like the "Extended Boost" doing its job.

Which is something to get use too, I generally I start in lower mode depending where I'm riding. The only time I find the system over powering is when going...
The only that can being done is having the dealer install certain modes. On the other hand, I believe (is the only one) the Nyon controller give the option to tweak the profile.
But IMO, though I do wish we did have the option to make tweaks using the Kiox controller, but in time I have learn...
Yes, EMTB-lite is only on Trek, not sure if tis possible to other Bosch based bikes. The different Tour modes can't be all loaded at once, you have decide which mode you want. At the moment, there's three mode options to choose from: (standard) Tour, EMTB-lite (Only on Trek), and Tour+ (I assume...
Been riding the new Tour+ mode for the past week, IMO, I find the support not overwhelming compared to the EMTB mode. For example, I was climbing a hill in Tour+, it basically felt almost natural (underwhelming, if that makes sense), as if I was under my own power. Compared to EMTB on the same...
eMTB Lite: 140% - 240%
Tour+: 60% - 340%
From what I noticed in Tour+ mode, the power is there, it's just lighter in the feel (riding in NYC street traffic). I haven't had a chance to ride any hilly trails to see how much it differs. Check Bosch's graph in the link below...
I had the update done, the only mode that gets replaced is Tour, all of the other modes stay the same. In my case, I have a Trek Rail, which had "eMTB Lite" replaced by "Tour+". I still have eMTB mode, which I rarely used, since I used the eMTB Lite mode more. With this new mode, so far, pedals...
The new updates are out, for the "Magic Tour" (or Tour+), I have it currently installed on my 2020 Trek Rail and new updates for the Kiox and some of the other computers. Tour+ mode replaces the Tour mode (whether if its standard Tour or eMTB Lite), but still shows Tour on the Kiox. From my...
What you need to is delete the bike on the app, and resync it. It happens to me with every firmware upgrade and it's the only way I have been able to resolve it.
