Hey @PaloEMTB , how do I get one of these in Ontario, Canada? Website says it will ship here, can I go ahead and place the order?
Edit: Nevermind, just placed the order (y)
Yes, still quiet. I've been riding the bike since then and the noise hasn't come back. In my case I took some parts out to apply the grease directly on the rubber o-ring under the crankset.
I could sell my 2020 Turbo Levo for not much of a loss due to how limited stock is here, but then I probably wouldn't be able to buy a 2022.
Also, I have the extended (4 years) motor warranty for my 2020 (still hasn't failed, currently at 750km) so it might be worth to keep it since that's...
And now watch the Specialized propaganda machine in full power mode.
The hype is too much... change a few angles and numbers here and there, do a mullet setup (that other brands were already doing years ago) and now this is the best bike ever ?
Is it still not possible to update the firmware myself without going into the store? Knowing my store they might want to charge me for the update... I'm moving to a rural area and wanted to get this update before going.
Knowing that it's the same part as the Stumpjumper brings relief. btw, this is a 2020 Levo, not sure what year yours is. The top part (both sides) for the rear triangle is separate from the bottom.
In your case was the seat stay tube actually bent? The overall shape of mine is still the same...
Hey,
I had a very slow crash, not sure how but the seat stay got damaged, On the right side, the outwards surface is bent inwards, the other side of the same tube is not deformed so overall shape didn't change. Very sad to have this happen to such an expensive bike.
Should I worry about this...
I have to say I prefer the 2021 Comp vs my 2020 Comp. Always been on the Shimano and Fox ecosystem and had to change that for the 2020 Comp but the 2021 comp is using Shimano and Fox instead of SRAM ? - I think this is personal preference because performance wise seems equivalent (someone please...
I designed a 3d printed Pulley Remover, which can also be used for removing the chainring of a Levo.
I had to replace the motor cover on my Levo and used it successfully for that.
It's similar to something like this: https://static.grainger.com/rp/s/is/image/Grainger/4YT14_AS01?hei=800&wid=935...
It would probably not be the latest version of the cable as I had a bike built just before December and it didn't have it. My exchange bike from December does.
The Levo I bought from early December didn't have the very last cable version, however that bike had other issues and I had to exchange it.
My new bike was built on Dec 13, 2019 and it does have the latest version of the power cable. I found out because I cracked the brittle plastic that covers...
I wouldn't use the bolts to attached it, I would probably make a long continuous plate that protects part of the downtube/battery all the way to the underside of the motor. The way I would attach it would be with an industrial strength velcro under the motor and a "velcro tie" around the...
Thanks for the reply! I have all the tools needed including 2 different torque wrenches for the lower and higher torque specs and the BBT-18 bracket tool to remove the castle nut. Only exception is that pulley/chainring puller tool.
Taking a look at the video you shared, my bike and the cover...
Also, anyone knows if it's possible to replace the cover without dropping the motor? It seems that after removing the cranks, chain ring and etc it can be removed without removing the motor completely (which requires messing a bit with the rear triangle connection).
Yeah, it's really brittle plastic. I was amazed at how little impact it took to break it. A lot of these e-mtbs share the same parts (shimano, SRAM, Fox, etc) so you would hope that for the premium we pay for Specialized we would get higher quality on the parts that are more unique to the Levos.
Hey guys,
It's me again. I'm sorry I only post when I have problems with my Levo...
I snapped my motor cover pretty bad and have 2 questions:
- Does anyone have a link to the very latest version of the motor cover? I'm worried about buying something that is not the latest version and might not...
