EU Court of Justice rules that e-bikes are bicycles – not motorbikes
The European Union Court of Justice has ruled that e-bikes are bicycles, not motor vehicles, because they are "not propelled exclusively by mechanical power".
This ruling, which settles a debate that has been ongoing since...
Something is going to be announced soon, Brose won awards late last year for recycling old e-bike motors. I’ve also read that they will be selling re-manufactured motors with 2 year warranty for a significant discount over the current new prices. EMBN show also said to watch out for a big...
That front end looks way too high and slack and also the BB is to high, you want a 29er fork with a low axel to crown measurement, there’s a table with fork measurements further back in this thread.
I’ve just gone MX or MWS, only one ride in, but I might prefer it to the full 29er, which is a genuine surprise to me, managed to keep the geo sensible (BB height and head angle) as I run a Bomber Z1 at 170 up front and using a 2.6 rear tyre, chip in high position.
I can recommend using...
Just get the cheapest version of the Levociraptor for £120, still has 5 limits to choose from, although ultimately you will be limited by the bike gearing or the hill gradient!
I had a Carbon Levo at sub 21kg and my Kenevo is only 22.5kg (500w battery) you get used to the weight, it’s just different, but e-bikes are so much fun, we do twice the ride length and elevation we used to on normal bikes in the same amount of time. £3k will only buy a decent, not great normal...
All the expensive bits are still under warranty (if you have the receipts) so seems like a great deal. I read back up the comments, this bike will be about 23.5-24kgs stock with the bigger battery, so it’s more about if this is the bike for you. Kenevo SL’s are on sale now as a new motor version...
Blevo app shows the actual currently available wattage, but I wouldn’t worry too much about it, just ask the seller how many charge cycles and his charging habits.
If he paid for the motor, then the warranty is two years from the date of the motor purchase. If the motor was a warranty replacement then the motor warranty ends 2 years after the bike was originally purchased.
My Kenevo is a 2021 and the bike motor warranty is only 2 years, had it confirmed...
NukeprooF carbon Horizon V2 780mm 38mm rise, perfect fit and great price wise.
What bike are you riding and what is the stack height? 50m rise is a lot unless you are super tall or the bike has a super low stack height
You can Demo YT's from the YT hub in Godalming Surrey for £15 for 4 hours. You can also hire Specialized Levo's from Surrey Hills Bike Rental in Peasslake £60 a day.
Firstly, if you do not flip to the Kenevo then as soon as your Levo warranty ends send your Levo motor off to Performanceline Bearings to have it upgraded at a fraction of the cost of a new motor (even with Specialized making a goodwill contribution). Regarding the goodwill, I've been told that...
