Hello all,
Bikes been in the garage for a few weeks. Got it out to give it a clean and noticed the lower bolt on the rear suspension sticking out.
Not used it since BPW where it took a battering. I hammered the bolt back through then noticed a D Shaped plate which I assume has a thread is...
Tannus Armour - Updated Review
I've been running the armour for over 4 months now front and rear. Minion DHF with an Aggressor on the rear.
Just come back from 3 days in Scotland. Managed 4 of the 7 Stanes. I'm pretty sure it was Mabie with the insanely sharp rocks everywhere.
Done 60 miles...
I rode a hill called the rake local to me the specs are.
Length – 0.9 km
Average gradient: 12%
Max gradient: 23%
Height gain: 98 m
I rode this on my normal XC bike and was seeing all-sorts of stuff by the end absolutely dripping with sweat.
Tried it on the E'b and it was still a pain in arse.
Apparently it doesn't affect the range according to what I've read and watched. The battery consumption is the same. If I'm out for a big day say 40 miles in unknown territory it will be a mixture Eco / Tour. Managed just under 40 miles the other week with 3800ft no trouble. I think body weight...
I don't normally ride in EMTB as I wasn't keen on the feel of the power delivery. To me today it felt very fluid how the power engaged through the pedal stroke. Normally I ride in Eco or Tour most of the time. I did 3000ft climbing today over 23 miles. Mostly in EMTB with a bit of Turbo with my...
My rear hub on my Rail 5 had been making a rough noise for a while. I asked my LBS to have a look while they were looking at my gears and updating the firmware.
They changed the bearings in my rear hub. Its come back super quiet. I've attached a picture of the parts that were removed with the...
First ride today with the new update.
Wow absolutely wow. Blown away with Turbo, absolutely blasted it up my local tough climb and knocked 10 seconds off my old time.
Rode most of my 20 miles in EMTB to see the difference. Really smooth delivery of power it's a massive improvement.
Props to...
Trek Rail 5
I noticed the other day that shifting was a bit suspect in a couple of the middle gears. Nothing insane just a niggle now and again.
Upon inspection this morning I noticed a bent tooth on one of the cogs. I checked my chain wear while I was there and it's above .75.
This is an NX...
Hi Rob,
There's nothing flagged as email. Your reply went straight into my inbox. I've got push alerts on which I like. It's the emails in my inbox which are a pain.
Thanks Chris
