The national forest, which is 2 blocks from my house will only let ebikes on motored trails with jeeps and such. The rest of the state allows them wherever bicycles are allowed so I kept my manual bike for the forest trails and the ebike for all the other trails. Like them both so no big thing.
I've still got my 2002 ish hardtail stumpjumper s-works I used to race xc with, I have a 2023 moterra carbon 1 that I plan to eventually rebuild the battery or motor on and have at least as long. Gen4 cx, 750wh, lyric forks...I'm set for what I do for now.
Might be some nice hubs/wheels in my...
S8nce my bike came new from Canondale and the bosch flow app had it listed as already owned and I had to wait 2 days for the "previous owner" to remove it from their app(on a new bike), I'm just trying to make sure the dealer isn't lying by saying "oh it was probably just during setup"...
I'm just wondering.
Picked up a Moterra Carbon 1 a couple months ago and got nothing but a generic Cannondale bike manual that said things like if your brakes feel wrong, take it to a shop, this is a seat post, etc...
Ha I got the Carbon 1 and I still see lots to upgrade!
Cassette, chainring, cranks, levers, hubs/wheels... and on it goes.
I do like the feel of the Lyrik but might upgrade to ultimate. I think I just need the Rc3 cartridge but may be wrong.
Little late response but my new emtb is stock but Kings on my other bikes.
I still even have Kings in light blue on my 2001 Stumpjumper and they work and sound as good as new after 23 years!
When it's time to upgrade my new bike (Moterra carbon 1) it's getting kings.
Didn't post here but Canondale has $2000 USD off their Moterra line.
I picked up the Carbon 1 for $6500 USD with bosche CX, 750wh, XT/XTR, kiox 300 etc..
Ok thanks, I won't worry about it.
It was just I ordered the bike new and when I connected flow it said it had a previous owner and I couldn't connect until they removed the bike from their app.
Figured it was the bike shop but still wondered if I got a demo with an old battery.
After it s3nt an...
Good to know I don't have to start the flow app first.
I always started the bike, started flow, then forgot and an hour after the ride went in and pressed the little red square button. Always saved to flow, strava, and fit np but if I don't even have to open flow, all the better.
I was more thinking it woukd be nice to just have one bike to commute on too and 20 mph here for 20 miles with cars isn't fun.
I think I probably get avg about 5-7 mph on the trails.
