PowerMore works alone, ONLY if it is activated in ebike configuration. You can verify it in Kiox or Cell Bosch Flow APP, you go to My Bike-Components-Battery and Powermore should be listed as enabled. If it is not there, it won't work
Efectively, they are old stock, stored during 3 years with 0% charge, so they are even worse that the one you are replacing. This happened to me.
Now I ride a non Shimano ebike, and no more battery issues.
The 180mm AXLE is not good, the thread should be longer like in the 188mm one.
Also the original axle has a “bottleneck design flaw” that I already suffered in my bike and I was lucky my bike and myself survived the crash without further damages nor broken bones. My DT Swiss rear axle cracked...
EbikeMotorCentre has a custom made seal, but I belive you have to ship your motor to them for the installation.

I told him to replace E7000 for E8000, not to canibalize its gears, which are not compatible. He can find good deals on E8000 and it has far better quality than a repaired E7000.
E7000 has some internal plastic gears that break easily, if it is still in warranty then go to your shop. If out of warranty, you could buy an E8000 motor which is same dimensions and connectors and is easy to replace and has far better quality.
You can buy it second hand or also there is a...
May be during the previous rides with motor not reducing power, the ambient temperature was lower so the motor internal was cooler and not reaching the threshold temperature to cut power and reduce internal temperature.
Rumors from an Orbea forum:
Gen5 Motor is compatible with Gen4 eBike frames by using new Mounting Plates
New 600Wh battery is compatible with current frames that fit the 750Wh battery
New 800Wh battery does not fit in frames for 750Wh battery, and require a new frame.
Summarizing: many new...
You can use the Orbea Mounting Plate, but check the dimensions before.

I made my own plate using brass strip, soldered with tin-silver, drilled and tapped to M5.
If motor is out of warranty, then open it, it is even easier than E8000. In Spain we say: "From lost, to the river", which is the idiom for: "in for a penny, in for a pound" or " we're down the rabbit hole" , I like country specific idioms, ha ha.
Check for: lack of grease, missing teeth in...
Ebike Motor Centre has an upgrade kit, but I believe you will have to send your motor from the antipodes to them for the parts upgrade.

All you ever wanted to know of Gen5 but were afraid to ask:

I believed that it was standard practice in carbon frames to have metal inserts for frame suspension bearing sockets, and also for the motor mount drills, but I am no longer sure
Bosch motor is normally assembled to frame using the Bosch Assembly plates, so there are two different Torque values:
** Bolts for Bosch Assembly Plates to Motor: Torque 8Nm
** Bolts for Bike Frame to Bosch Assembly Plates: Torque 20Nm
I got a couple Bosch PDF manuals that show these values...
If you make a good youtube video with the instructions, you'll sell a ton of seals, and nobody should complain if they did not follow the instructions.
You do a great job, thanks for posting here.
Thank you for the answer.
I live in the Mediterranean Coast where we have a dry climate, and my Bosch powered bike still has 2 years 3 months warranty left and I wash my bike with a wet spounge, so it is not likely that my motor will have water ingress between the crankshaft and the freewheel...
What a pity!!!
But will you sell the crankshaft ungrade kit, only parts. Because sending a used motor from Europe to UK, is a complex and expensive task
