    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

I had a problem with my brakes and found that the gap between the top of the motor and the frame had squashed the hose, sounds like you need to pull the motor out and check.

    Shimano Ep6/ep801 replacements

The Bafang motor has narrower mounting lugs, I made them using 3mm aluminium plates, I would say you need make them suit your frame but it’s pretty easy to nut out.

    Shimano Ep6/ep801 replacements

I run a Bafang M510 in a Shimano frame using adapters, the M510 is smaller than the Shimano E8000 so it wasn’t to hard to retro fit. 36V you should be able to use the same battery.

It’s likely to be bearing failure due water ingress not the gear. I suggest you should strip the motor down to avoid bigger problems with corrosion. The bearings should be available from a local bearing shop. You tube if you have the skills to do it yourself as it’s not diffcult.

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

I don’t think you can get any more travel than 150 as the rocker arm hits the frame at top of the travel and the seat Stay bridge hits at the bottom.

Aggressive Long-Travel Enduro eBike Build: From Concept to Trail-Ready

I have been thinking of building a intergraded battery in the frame as I wrap the batteries I build in carbon anyway, it means you can reduce weight, it’s stronger and the down tube is sleek. Obviously the down side if you have a battery or bms problem you have to cut the frame, but I have had...

What motors can be derestricted without errors?

I have a Bafang M510 and a M820 motor, I used a speed fun dongle for a year or so and had no problems. I discovered that you can change the factory setting to 60km.

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

I have large frame and use a 150 reverb, it works for me, my preference is going downhill with the seat low as possible. 170 might be on the long side but it depends on your leg length and preference
