@Zimmerframe do you know if any direct mount chainrings are compatible with the new 1.2 system? I would like to get rid of the separate spider and chainring and go for any one-piece direct mount type if possible, like the e*thirteen helix race e*spec chainring. Cant seem to find any information.
agreed - it’s a useful resource, but it still left me with some questions. i’d like to know what other forum members think of going with either bike.
i will admit that if the trek didn’t have the new tq motor system, i would’ve went with specialized. after demoing both, the specialized feels...
could you expand on your comparisons between the sl 2 and the exe? also, agreed that there are noticeable differences between the 10% support increments.
ive tried both and im torn between the trek's better motor/sound/stealth look vs the sl 2's better handling. i found the exe feeling...
of all the reviews i’ve read concerning durability, the reserve sl, the we are one union/convergence, and the roval traverse sl not only popped up the most but were the most praised.
i think i’m going for either the reserve or the we are one, mainly for their generous replacement warranty.
according to the leaked spec sheet (and leaked specialized website), a 34.9mm dropper will still be used. i thought it would’ve been weird to backtrack. see below:
432mm chainstays… i wonder what pivot and superboost have to say about this.
liking the solid eSTA (can steepen by .5) and more conservative reach. always felt a little extra pressure on the hands on the levo 3 vs my levo 2. curious what stem length they’ll use on an s3.
i strongly feel that those posted numbers are incorrect.
with everyone saying that the geo will closely match the new stumpy evo ltd (mullet) and the gen 3 levo, those numbers are quite off. not to mention all the s6 numbers being wildly incorrect.
it makes much more sense for this bike to...
these numbers seem suspicious. sta is super conservative and hta doesnt come in 64.6. even the stumpy evo ltd has 436 cs too.
and why would s6 have a shorter crank vs s5?
