LBS swapped the "factory" tyres before I even left the shop.
Hill Billy t9 on front butcher t9 on back great combo for a Scottish winter/spring and still going strong in dry conditions.
Answer my own question. TCU out unplugged blow on connections reconnect and hey presto. It lives. The charger was green not because it wasn't charging but because battery was 100%. LBS is closed to end of June. But it's going when open as there's also a bit of drag in the motor, the pedals turn...
Ride 3 weeks ago down to about 50% charge. Take home plug in charge. Unplug it. Three weeks later completely dead. Plug it in for an hour or so tonight. Light on the charger stays green and still dead.
Is it kaput?
My rear wheel has just exploded its freehub. Shop says that it's quite common and they've run out of wheels. It'll probably end up being replaced with a hope wheel.
I've put a Flexi front guard in and it stopped the vast majority of wet clay getting dumped onto the shock. My real concern is the holes for the cable runs are in there and they open into the motor area. Which given the slop seems block the drain holes underneath could make this a bit wet.
No you can do it with motor in. Feed from rear. You do need to take the belly plate off and it's easier if you drop the forks. Underneath it you can take the fed hose When look up the inside of the downtube you'll see a carbon sleeve, but of a faff but feed it up the middle. It'll pop out on...
Hi,
I am getting a load of loamy, muddy, needley stuff building up around the rear shock on my KSL. It's a pain to get clean. Has anyone found a neat solution. I got a guard from simcomtb but it wasn't for a SL an dthey don't do one for a KSL. So...... solutions?
Another great 1200m of climbing day in the Scottish borders, although again last climb was limp mode but had to be done to get home. Warm even had the arms out
Garmin had a moment of dyslexia.
I've got a set of MT7s, a set with mt7 front mt8 rear and a mt5 trail set. Never had a leak in mine. Mrs 100th developed a leak in her mt7 after a crash but magura replaced no questions. There is a technique to the bleed. And that bleed screw is a pain but as I say never an issue.
From some...
In my time I've had many from cheap sweat bags to expensive sweat bags. Always end up as wet inside as outside. Goretex is designed for specific things and is great within its design parameters in my experience MTB is not in those parameters. Saying that it's better than some kit.
I am currently...
If it's off usually the chain will sit high on the teeth. (By off I mean the narrow wide doesn't fit with the chain narrow wide). There will be a visible gap between the trough between teeth and the chain. If it all sits snug change for a SRAM chain.
There is that. Is the chain sitting snug in the chainring or does it sit proud of the lowest points? If it's not really snug then lift it off and turn the chainring slightly. The chain should easily drop onto the chainring.
