Chain suck is usually a sign of a worn chainring.
Have you got a narrow wide chainring and an incompatible chain? Personally I'd used a SRAM chain on that set up.
Yes you would. You may have to put more effort in and do it without assistance but that's ok.
I've ridden my SL for dozens of rides since getting it beginning of December, not ridden a non ebike at all. I took both to a nearby trail centre because I wanted to satisfy my curiosity about a couple...
Those little tools are what you need although I did thread new hose quite easily last weekend. Pushed in from rear, guided in belos the shock, dropped the bash guard off, above the battery you can just see a carbon tunnel, thread hose up that. Fork dropped to allow access to head, hose out...
5'6" 30" inseam. I have a medium 2018 enduro, which is great. A Pace 529 which is much longer and a kenevo S3 which is right in the middle and spot on. Only issue is the seat post, I need a shorter post to make it just right.
I suggest you're not using your gears correctly. I'm new to e-bikes but I find I'm using the whole block as I would on my non e-bikes. Low cadence pedal stomp isn't as effective as a 80-90rpm lower geared climb.
"smallest gears" as in the 10 and 12(?)tooth rings? That'd suggest your riding to go as fast as you can or putting huge strain through the drivetrain with low cadence. Shift up the cassette, spin legs more, everything will last longer. I'd guess your chain is also knackered.
Guy I used to know has the battery you want but in Scotland don't know if they are shippable (should be 20% off this price for UK taxes then +Canadian taxes)...
Bike shop I got mine(SL) from said there is a definite divide in folk getting SL or full fat e-bikes. 75kg and lighter it's SL, 85kg and up its full fat.
I'm 71kg and find trail setting gets me quickly where I want to be turbo for steep stuff. Yes I'm underpowered compared to my mates full fat...
I went for a kenevo sl. Today was the first day that I used it as I wanted. Got twice as much climbing, so descent, in the "normal" amount of time. I wanted something more enduro if I'd wanted less enduro I'd have gone for a levo sl. The great thing about the SL, it handles more like my...
Went to look to get an idea of size of kenevos and left with an ex demo bike. At basically 50% discount. New drivetrain, brake pads, wheel bearings and frame bearings.
Had a play on the way home. Yep that's gonna lead to multiple moments of silliness.
Hi, looking at various options two possibilities are full 29ers but head angles a touch steeper than I'd like. What effect would mulleting it have? Say 66° as 29 rear what will it move to with a 650b rear?
Hi all, I'm going round in circles on my first ebike. Narrowed it down to 3 or 4. Question is if I go for the full 29 decoy. If I use a 650b rear wheel to mullet it am I getting a mx version head angle? I know the core 3 versions have different forks and shock but I'm not overly concerned by that.
Hi all,
Not got ebike yet but it's on the cards. Probably this year but more likely next.
Short list yet decoy and a nukeproof megawatt probably top of range in both as there are bit I would immediately swap out otherwise.
