Hi I am from nz and we are taking pre orders for djis now. My question is in regard to delimiting. As nz has a legal emtb limit of 45 kph will we be able to delimit this motor to that speed as per happens with the shimano ep 801. I have not managed to get this answer from any source yet but it...

Have you tried the "Disco Inferno"?

Yes this is a very valid point I have had my pads delaminate because of this sort of procedure

    20mm to 15mm axle /fork conversion .

I have been using the forkmod with my boxxers for over 12 months now. No problems at all. Works perfectly

How can I tell which of my batteries is in the best health

I have 3 bosch 625 batteries. All of different ages and had a variety of treatment. The all charge to 100% but how do I actually test to see which one is the best? Thanks in advance for any help. Even if there is only a few % difference between each of them I would still like to know the various...

    Crestline Bikes

Yeah. Got the older boxxers with the 56. I am hanging out for a Pinion long travel bike. Hopefully a Zerode so not too keen to experiment with a new set of forks just yet....but maybe

Ok that's one against a duel crown. Pretty emphatic no that one. Personally reasonably happy with boxxers but the grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence

I am running boxxers and the turning radius is a bit annoying on occasions but I can live with it. I have never tried 180 38s but I am keen to compare but not willing to pay the price of experimentation so I will have to live with the verdict from the interweb🤣

Bosch gen 4 cx to gen 4 smart

Likewise for me. 3 years on speedbox and no issues. Couldn't imagine running without one

Bosch gen 4 cx to gen 4 smart

And it's a whole lot more difficult to reliably derestrict therefore the options are becoming less for me. Pinion is looking like the best option at this stage although I do have a Zrode Pinion acoustic bike that I have managed to break the gearbox on.....twice so I will anxiously await the...

Levo Gen 3 Broken chain stay on new S- works turbo levo

I have to disagree. If built for lightweight then yes 100% but if built for strength the carbon every day. MY Zerode acoustic bike ain't ever going to break and I feel the same about my 3 year old Cannondale ebike. If build to the same standards a plastic frame will way outlast an alloy frame of...

Levo Gen 3 Broken chain stay on new S- works turbo levo

Chainstay Crack is a rather common fault although mostly with the carbon. I personally haven't seen any alloy ones cracked but have witnessed a good few carbon ones. Two on sworks and both took ages to get warranties dissapointingly. Reason was parts shortages

Levo Gen 3 Anyone try a 180mm fork on the Gen 3 Levo?

180 Boxxer and cascade link works a treat without overly raising the front end

    Drivetrain cleaning

Here's my tried and very simple metod that has worked well for many years After each ride wipe as much dirt off as I can with a rag then put bike into top gear and apply a drop of rocknroll blue to each link then spin the cranks through 30 revolutions to get all the lube in. Leave it to soak...

Is there anything more dangerous than having your bike hit the limiter just as you are popping off a gap jump?

    Bosch vs Shimano drag race

I can't imagine how bad a 25kph cutoff must feel. 32 is bad enough but 25 must be unbearable at least it would be for me

New Nicolai with Pinion gearbox announced

Same thoughts here. Current whip is a 200 185 bastardised Cannondale that goes pretty good but a 630 battery running heavy dh tyres restricts rides to a little over 2hrs and 1200 metres but I guess It will have to hang in there another couple of years. I want a gearbox so bad. I love my Zerode...
