Moving from 2 bike setup (enduro + e-enduro) to single setup (light e-mtb)

If you are fit and strong....or want to be....go with full fat and big travel. You can ride it anywhere. If you are a little unfit or maybe a bit on the weaker side go with the sl. They make it fun for cruising

Levo Gen 3 How good are the wheelsets on the cheaper Levos?

Ok as a cruisy road or rail trail wheelset but hopeless for anything serious

50lbs vs 53lbs bike — will it be noticeable?

Yes there are definately risks involved with bike packing which is why I only do it on adventure rides and ride light at bike parks when hitting jumps etc. Also don't underestimate the damage a cartwheeling ebike can do if it catches up with you. Stay safe everyone let's always try and make...

50lbs vs 53lbs bike — will it be noticeable?

Two batteries are a great idea. I use two 625s and often swap at half time if in a bike park at if out on a big exploratory ride I carry a spare that fits snuggly in a camelback mule. Any battery larger than a 625 is generally too long to carry on your back in my experience

Is anyone selling the Pinion Emtb yet.

Yes there are definately rumors. I believe the cad work has been done but licensing maybe a bit of a problem

    Shigura vs Hope T4V4

A little off topic but do the braided lines make a noticeable difference in performance? Certainly they look cool and they might be more durable but I am interested in the performance aspect

    Ouch at Llandegla

Same deal torn rotator. Drs suggested surgery would be only way to repair torn ligament. Decided sauna and cold therapy might work. It's been quite some months but it's coming along nicely.

    2024 Pivot Shuttle AM

Agree. More choice in shuttle bikes please. Pivot make a very good bike and like with everything else price is all about supply and demand. If people are willing to pay the asking price then companies are quite within there rights to charge. It's called capitalism and we are all happy to reap...

    Shigura vs Hope T4V4

And being an x Saint fanboy I can fully understand the love but I suggest anyone contemplating going to mt7 calipers give the magura levers a full test first. They work very well. Biggest plus for me over shimano is the consistency which Ultimately equals time

    Shigura vs Hope T4V4

I have never quite understood the Shiguro thing. Personally I can't fault the action of the magura levers

    Shigura vs Hope T4V4

I use shimano fluid for my mt7s. Have even mixed shimano and blue blood. Never had an issue in 2 years and 15000 k however there are some experts who say not to do that. Not sure why

Is anyone selling the Pinion Emtb yet.

My next ebike will be a Pinion, preferably a Zerode as I loved my acoustic Taniwha so much and got such an awesome maintenance free run out of it for about 4 years. Unfortunately for the past couple of years it's been sitting in the shed barely being used because ebikes are just too much fun...

    Santa Cruz Bosch

Crestline = Bullet with a Bosch. I am really not sure how peeps manage to stick up for Shimano motors. Inferior in everyway.

    2024 Pivot Shuttle AM

Yes I am afraid the Shimano motor underperforms when compared to the competition. All Pivot bikes work very well though
  17. Chairman

    Which one to sell?

I am in the keep em both camp. Levos not a bad bike and motor is great when it's not broken. Good to have a spare for all the reasons previously mentioned
