Sounds interesting mate… what colour have they got listed for it?

I think I remember seeing a while back that the majority of Focus’ range for 2022 will just be their 2021 bikes… most big websites have the ‘2022’ advertised with the same spec… maybe some changes due to part availability etc, will be good to see 👌🏼

2021… is there any difference between a 2021 and a 2022? I was lead to believe they are the same model?

I’ve got a Fidlock on my Thron², it seems all good so far after a few rides out… will probably look at them next time for my road bike to, impresses so far 👌🏼

Ordered this a while back and finally got round to fitting, a joint Kiox and Edge mount made by eBay seller esale.nokseqw on eBay I sent him my idea through eBay messenger, quick communications and a few days later he had a 3D image mocked up, confirmed sizing etc, and here’s the finished piece...

Ordered some new camo decals for the fox forks and shock, hopefully they’ll be a nice fit and make me faster like advertised 🤔😂

Totally agree… my road bike saddle is way firmer, and a fair bit smaller… yet far more comfy than my ‘eBike specific’ saddle!

Great bit of advise 👍🏼 I’m all new to eMTB’s and have just got a Focus Thron² 6.9 last week with the Gen4 motor… what you’ve described above, is this fairly straight forward to do? or do you have a quick link to any video’s/instructions? cheers

Never seen they knew before, you can clearly see how/where they’re fixing it to the bike, but not sure if it like to be as secure as the AVS guard?! Nice one, I’m a week into owning mine so still getting to grips with it 😂

Ive got the same one fitted to my Thron² 6.9, can’t comment too much on overall durability as I’ve only used it twice since fitting it last week… but fitment wise is seems spot on 👌🏼

Hey, just get a new Thron² 6.9 and was wonder is anyone had fitted a chain catcher to there Focus? Or know if, or what type will fit and work best Cheers

Ive just got some in a 32 and know what you mean, I think I just get away with the length though… I seem to be right in the middle of the 30 and 32 🙈…got some Flexair shorts coming in a 30 I got on sale so hopefully can get into them fine too?!

I tried Stans when I first setup my gravel bike on tubeless… changed to MucOff the next time I done it and found it a bit better… hopefully you’ll find the Stans works well for you though 👌🏼

Hopefully I can stay off the floor for just a little while and keep everything in one piece 😂

Coming from a total newbie to ebikes, from a road bike background… the numbers seen here seem ridiculous! Maintenance costs of 5x or 10x that of say a car… and surely things like ‘crash damage’ can’t be seen as ‘maintenance cost?!’ Surely a bit of care and attention to your bikes after each ride...
