Sorry to be clear I ran the stock chain ring from e13 which has a 52mm chain line (standard boost) then I got a plus 3mm for a 55mm chain line as sram calls for 55
My medium 21 9.8 had a 52mm replaced with a new 55mm for my transmission install. Truthfully I ran it with a raceface 52mm chain ring for a while and it was fine. Hope this helps
The shock won’t know that it’s on an e-bike. So as long as you don’t tell it, you’ll be fine. I run an off the shelf x2 tune and it works better on my 9.8. Now whether the tune works for your style of riding will be up to you. Most Emtb tunes are too soft imho. Have fun!
removing the battery lock made it much quieter. But you’re right I don’t think I can get the motor rattle to stop bothering me. It’s all that’s left on what would be a great bike. I’m waiting for the next gen rail. Hoping for a TQ motor.
Yes the Q factor. I’m 5.8 with long legs. q16 is ok but if you have wide hips and can ride a 170mm arm I think they even go higher the q16.
Got these last week for my bike. Tried a few. My wife has the delta on hers
Kies Cranks 160 Q:16 Isis Cold-forged aluminium alloy Black Granite for E-BIKE
I’ve used Miranda 150 and 160 both with qf16. 150 was to short. Very hard to have your feet that close at 50/50. Really like the 160 qf-16. Wife likes the E-13 160 it’s narrow compared to Miranda
It’s just my opinion, but the GX set up is about as good for the money as it gets. Had Gx went XO1 and couldn’t tell a bit of difference. Except in my wallet.
