hi! I ended up taking it to my local trek shop and saying “this is crazy you gotta figure it out”. They had the bike for over a week trying to find the source of the rattle. They ended up making it loads better by doing the battery alignment procedure and adding a bit of foam…but, alas, it did...
She got me the “sports pack” and it came with two extra batteries-a total of three. That’s nearly an hour and a half.
to be honest though, it’s too much haha. I think I’ll only ever bring one or two. I guess it depends on what you want to do with the footage. But cutting it all down to the 13...
Thanks! She got me the “Skydio 2”. I think it’s the only current consumer level product they have right now. I think the other thing they’re currently making is for commercial use.
Thanks man! I was blown away when she gave it to me...I tried to talk her into returning it because it seemed like an unnecessary spend. But it's really fun and I'm amazed at how well it works.
Just sharing. The drone is pretty rad. This was a really easy local trail (our friend was out riding for the first time in like 25 years so we kept it simple).
As for the bikes, I'm riding a trek rail 7, one friend is on a 2019 Haibike allmtn 3.0, another on the 2020 allmtn 2.0 and another on a...
Hi, it’s certainly possible that I’ve just never noticed it before but it seems kind of strange. It’s only viewable on the left side and getting low and the pedal out of the way. I’m referring to the little silver piece at about 5 o’clock…
Anyone know?
totally agree...I think overlanding and emtb really go hand in hand. You have to be careful not to push it on crazy stuff I’d think. An injury is worse further out.
Where do you like overlanding in California?
You’re right, that works too. I’ve been doing that when it gets really steep anyway but the part that gets my hands the most is more like long flattish/small incline sections where I am just wanting to cruise at the top of my seat height and it’s too much weight on my hands.
Thanks for the reply! My concern about sitting more upright is that it puts even more weight on my hands. I sort of
Yes, you’re correct. The 7 has the smaller 31.8mm stem so if I went with a 35 I’d have to change the stem also.
How do you like the 20mm change in rise on the bars? How did it...
I'm really trying to nail down my position on the bike and when I have the saddle in the perfect position for pedaling (i.e. top of the dropper, knee to pedal line, right height, saddle level (and tried a couple degrees back also), etc) I find that it puts too much pressure on my hands and I get...
removing the battery does not stop it and the front axle is tightened with a torque wrench to spec. I havent tried the stem and top cap bolts. I’ll give it a shot, but it sounds like it doesn’t sound like it’s coming from there.
I’m assuming not everyone has this sound?
yes the motor has been dropped, inspected, and retightened. It didn’t fix it. It isn’t just with pressure on the crank. I can stand to the side of the bike or just weight the bike and it makes this sound.
