Got a little break planned for this week and managed to fit a bike a day into the agenda. Has anyone done helvellyn and if so what route did you take? seems like there are a few different routes glenridding and climbing up sticks pass but wondering if anyone has a better suggestion?

its worth it mate, i would try and add abit more to route next time, could have done with another hour or so and see abit more.

i started at dufton mate and cycled upto murton then up towards murton pike and onto high cup nick that way and came straight down to dufton. However the path up to murton gill from murton side isnt too bad, its a fire road most of the way which made an easy enough climb, could see it been abit...

Im same height and got a S4, feels good and stable wherever i ride it. I have never tried the S3 so cant comment how that would be but ive got no regret with the S4.
