Welcome Boat Racer, I used to drive thru Gilroy fairly regularly on my way to the Sierras from Berzerkeley...
Love the smell there, and now I'm craving some pasta.
That one may be difficult, none of my 510's flats or clipless have worked well hiking. I'd look at low pro hiking shoes/boots. you might find something.
I don't doubt that one bit, but can confirm that much of the sought after single track in area became illegal to ride due to trespassing.
Luckily I moved there for work - and mostly to be closer to the climbing in Yosemite of course....
I was on a trip and had no fluid or syringe and had the shop in town do it. In my experience with them I would say I just had the wrong guy do it. As they are well known and work on and sell a lot of high end bikes.
I'm likely to send the images to Magura just to see if its something silly...
I rode for 20 years then didn't for 10 or so, two years back at it and find the flow trails quite enjoyable but was confused by them at first, many of my local-ish areas have both flow and hand cut trials which is nice for someone like me that grew up on old school single-track (and road racing)...
It's called repack hill on mt tamapalias (not spelled correctly) in Marin County. I lived in the area for a number of years, much of the "classic" single-track from those days is gone now, or at least it was 10-15 years ago. I guess the land owners became tired of others having fun.
I'm even more confused now. I may put the sram rotors/adapters back on tonight just to see what happens. The storm HC rotors are not wearing on the top portion - I should have gotten an image but am at the office now.
The really odd thing is. both front and rear brakes are wearing the pads oddly, but seem to be seated properly and contacting the disk. The bleed issue is only the rear brake.
The shop did not mention any alignment issues. But did say "they're a little better" that'll be 30 bucks...there...
I posted this in another thread but this is what my pads look like. Front brake is working ok but the rear needs another bleed. Bled it before my trip, after the first day the lever was hitting the bar, had a local shop bleed it again and now I have no rear brake again. Or very little anyway.
The drone footage is awesome, and it really irritates me that now there is another toy I want. Fortunately all my trails are in the trees, which is most likely whats keeping me from buying one.
Where is Crockett? Used to live in Petaluma and then Berkeley for quite a few years. That trail is...
Having a difficult time here...any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
Front and rear MT5, Magura HC 203mm on both F/R I have the 180 to 203 adapter on the rear. the pads are level with the top of the rotor on both front and rear calipers so I am at least fairly confident I have the correct...
