By trail and error I learned the EXO+ casing adds al lot of cornering stability on the heavier e-bike. On my acoustic Scott Spark RC i can run the lightweight stuff with no issues.
Depends on the number and tightness of the turns. 29" is a little more stable, but does not go around the corners so fast.
FYI : I run the HX1501 27,5 wheelset, my friend uses the cheapest DT Swiss hybrid on his Rotwild RX and he is also happy.
