There’s a handful of 2023 Comps (with fox coil) and Experts left in some markets around the world but unfortunately there’s no new Kenevo on the horizon. I can’t help but wonder if Specialized had something new in the pipeline but due to the downturn in global sales it’s been cancelled. A real...
Have been running my Kenevo in mullet configuration for a while but just switched to full 29’er and initial impressions are very good.
For some reason the bike feels plusher, could just be the placebo effect.
Might end up running one of the new vivd air shocks as I reckon that could be the...
Wondering if anyone else out there with a 2018/2019 Kenevo has seen this where the shock mounts to the frame there is a gap between the 2 welds and there appears to be movement there.
I had a nasty creaking noise coming from the frame that I was having all sorts of issues finding the cause and...
I broke my bolt today and looking to get a solid one made like you have done. Do you have the dimensions of the bolt?
Or is there an aftermarket one available that is stronger than the OEM bolt?
Thanks
I’m probably 96kg’s in my riding gear and run a 640lb ohlins spring in my kenevo. Good for jumping and aggressive DH riding.
Was running a cane creek Valt 600lb and found it was bottoming out a bit easy on jump tracks.
I have the same bike and have also swapped out the wheels, tyres and wu dropper and the bike is a dream now!
Those 2.8 butchers are dangerous on a heavy ebike, I had a rear one blow out and it nearly killed me.
Yes the enduro shocks do fit the kenevo but you will be running 6” of travel instead of 7” as the enduro shocks are only a 57mm stroke instead of 63mm for kenevo.
If it means being able to keep using the bike then it’s certainly a good option ?
Goto your local bearing shop and get some good quality bearings. You will need....
2x 6903 bearings for the hub. The drive side bearing will more than likely be the culprit but definitely replace both.
2x 6902 bearings for the cassette body.
Do a search on these forums, there’s a few good...
A mate had the same issue with the latest firmware on the E8000. Bricked the bike and had to buy the SM-BCR2 cable to connect to PC and force latest firmware back onto bike. It seems the latest E8000 firmware is clever and won’t let you downgrade without bricking your bike.
Might have to wait...
