I did a 80% service, left the grey seal head on the post and didn't remove the green part. Cleaned and lubed everything I could and put it back together. It made a massive improvement and its close to like new again. Wasn't too tricky at all.

Worried I might strip the threads of the motor spindle by using even more force, but doubt there is any better option.

I stood on the allen key and crank at opposing angles (after triple checking I was loosening) and no movement, I weigh about 100kg. The other side came off ok using only my hands.

So my drive side Praxxis crank won't loosen with my 8mm allen key and quite a lot of force. It lossened about 1 rotation then stopped. I added some oil to the outer nut / inner hex area but no difference. Has anyone got better ideas ? Its a 2019 Levo Expert, std alloy cranks.

History repeating itself at Specialized. I had a 2007 Enduro SL with the new Spec designed own-brand suspension. There were a few issues with that and the warranty got extended to 5 years. They required you to service the bike/suspension with them but they upgraded the fork internals to 08 and...

Noticed the L/XL size expert has a front 220mm rotor. Weirdly the rear tyre is a 2.3" !

Has anyone else had this happen ? It seems to have worn through at the point that it enters the headtube guide thing. This photo is taken after I pull it out a little to better see the split. The fluid leaked down the hose, throught the frame to the exit hole at the bottom braket area...

On my 2019 Expert I had a couple of burps that I have never had before on different rims, then I flat spotted the rear on a rock so I decided to add some inserts. Just went for these cheap and light ones which were easy to install, they seem ok so far - Barbieri Anaconda Puncture Protection System

Is the chainstay pivot area where muck got into the motor the same for 2020 as the update issued for the 2019 bike ?

I don't think I have ever used it ! It's only 2 presses from Eco to Turbo. I never switch off the motor when riding, do you ? Even downhill it's fine in Eco mode. I totally agree with this, and it seems really obvious. Have the turbo button instantly change to MAXIMUM power with shuttle at...

What was the route ?

Check the headset is correctly tightened. Mine loosened off after a few rides. If you have a Swat tool the allen is at the bottom of the headtube.
