Specialized Kenevo or Merida e-One Sixty

Was talking about the rockshox, but you can also do it on the fox, although I think it only goes to 170mm. You will need to check that though. Ben cathro did a vid on YouTube about the fox.

No, it was an improvement but not a big one. Also fitted a 2018 lyric damper and that helped quite a bit.

Yes, I have done it for 3 bikes so far and whilst I had the fork off, put in an angle headset too. You will need lower leg fork oil and some of the correct grease though.

You could always throw in a 180mm air shaft to extend your fork and they are only about 40 quid.

    E8000 - What’s your range?

I guess the advice would be the same as extending the range on a car. Slow acceleration, steady speed and not to go fast. Not much fun though, but it might just get you home.

    What flat pedals?

Was on vaults, but kept clipping things with them, due to the large platform. Now on dmr v12 s and they seem to work well. Maybe not for you if you have big feet though.

    E8000 - What’s your range?

Apart from elevation being a key factor, speed is also importaint. When I'm with guys on push bikes, I can do more miles and elevation. As for the tyres I'm using, have tried 2.8 minions, 2.8 magic Mary's and now on 2.6 dh magic Mary's. Trail mode is set to middle.

Can anyone help with front fork setup?

Headsets on e bikes need regular checks. Mine are adjusted every few weeks.

    E8000 - What’s your range?

3500ft and 15 miles on trail mode. Rider weight 65kg. Merida e one sixty. I would say your battery is fine. Shimano motors are good, but range is not.

Let's talk clothing! What's your gear?

Last year I ended up using berghaus goretex walking boots and they were ok, not quite as good as the five ten free ride boots, but I got used to them pretty quick. Spotted some other riders on e bikes doing the same thing.

Answered How to negotiate a good discount when buying a new bike

Do your homework before asking for a discount. If the sales staff know you are clued up, then they will do their best to help, from what I have experienced.

Specialized Kenevo or Merida e-One Sixty

I thought that. Have only tried a kenevo on the easy hills round the shop so couldn't tell if the seat would go down as far as my merida. I should have measured it when I had the chance. Both tried in medium.

Sorry, I meant the saddle height at full drop, compared to bar height.

If you ride steep slopes, it's also worth checking how far down you can get the saddle on each bike.

    Kenevo and magic marys

Just to let you know that the tyre will expand up to 4mm over use, so might be worth another measure after a ride. Looks like the 2 halfs of the tyre are out of alignment.

    Official Merida eOne-Sixty thread

Go back to page 3 and the answer is there from basy. It will improve your bike if you ride enduro style tracks. I have the 1.5 degree version and it works great. Friend got one last week and he likes it too.

    Anybody wear Endura Humvee ll?

I used these last winter and they worked well. They have a stretchy materiel that allows knee pads to go under them and this year i have bought fox low profile enduro knee pads for more movement. Madison Zenith Zip-Off Waterproof Cycling Trousers AW17 | Tredz Bikes

    Post your modded Levo’s!

Just read the upgrades to the front and rear travel and was wondering if the bike handled ok, I have always got away with an extra 20mm on the front, but been a bit hesitant about trying anything with the rear?
