Confirmed via a Giant Store, they're now listing the complete 2025 line up online.
The bike is not perfect, but the performance level remains very competitive for what it is. You don't always need the latest and greatest, plenty of fun left to be had on this bike.
In fact not that much...
Useful information for the people that were thinking that Giant were going to update the Reign E+ for 2025 as it will not be the case.
Giant will only offer the Reign E+2 for 2025 (which is the exact same model as the 2024 model).
They're clearing out 2024 Reign E+1 and E+3, just pulled the...
Just a quick heads up as the information could be useful for some people shopping these bikes.
The whole 2024 Trance X E+ Elite line up will carry over to 2025, no model change, update or new colors.
If you find a deal on a 2024 go for it as you'll basically have a 2025.
I just saw that the weights are now posted on Trek UK.
The best value model in my opinion is also the lightest at 52.4 lb/23.8kg (Rail+ 9.8XT)
The bike is pretty much the same weight as the previous gen.
The bike was only released on their European websites with a few EU MTB websites sharing news about the new bike.
Still not a single review out and there's no information at all available outside of Europe so there must be some kind of embargo still in place.
Very strange product launch.
If you buy a Santa Cruz you need to go for the S kit at the bare minimum to have a somewhat ready to ride build with no upgrades required, but you're still getting poor value versus the competition.
I feel like the Vala will be harder to sell for Santa Cruz considering it's not VPP, limited to...
XT drivetrain is much cheaper than GX T-Type so they offset the price increase with cheaper suspensions on the GX build, the Fox 38 doesn't even have the Grip X2 damper, but the Grip X damper.
T-Type is nice, but not a necessity...I think the XT build is the smart choice here with the updated...
You can see it on UK's website under the old Rail page when you consult the bike models, Rail+ will be there.
Looks like the official release will be later on today, strange.
Take a look at this thread and just go take a look at your motor to see if you have EP800 or EP801.

Crestline is boutique and are moving low volume of bikes, their market share must very, very low compared to Santa Cruz.
It'll be interesting to see if SC will be moving the updated Bullit/Heckler to 4bar or stay with VPP.
If they move away the Crestline could remain the only VPP eMTB with a...
It's also interesting how they're forcing that bike to slot in between the Heckler SL and Bullit/Heckler as it's 600wh only.
Anyway, I'm surprised Santa Cruz are releasing a completely new eMTB instead of releasing an updated Bullit with Bosch Gen 5/800wh considering the amount of people...
Giant released their regular 2025 bike collection via dealer only announcement last week, but no sign of 2025 ebikes.
Usually Giant are announcing next model year bikes by the end of October...I guess we'll need to wait a little more to learn.
Only the V10 requires such low sag which is actually 21-24%.
Pretty much all other trail/enduro/eMTB from Santa Cruz are 29-32% recommended sag, including Heckler SL.
Update on my friend's 2023 Reign E+2 that was finally brought in to the Giant store to fix this issue (L2 flashing, no power, must power off and on for a temporary fix)
Giant inspected the motor in their HQ in BC and they told the motor had an internal communication error issue that can't be...
That Giant UK guy above is completely clueless on recommending 203mm max rear rotor size when Giant are speccing 220MM F&R on the 2024 Reign E+1.
There's no way Giant would deny a warranty claim for that reason when they're doing it from the factory.
I'll be on my 3rd season with a 220mm SRAM...
Got rid of my AXS derailleur & AXS dropper post after experiencing issues and issues, installed a new mechanical drivetrain for peace of mind & reliability, I'm done with AXS stuff for now. That GX AXS derailleur was also loud as hell and I prefer the quietness of the mechanical one that is not...
