Honestly after seing how Giant are rolling up new bikes each year, they're doing it in a strange way.
All 2023 road bikes are up on Japan's website along with prices, yet everywhere else you have nothing. Then you have the Reign/Trance eMTBs up on Estonia's website, but no visibility elsewhere...
Or worst, cracking his Phantom Green replacement frame just to get the pink one right after!
First picture in this thread you can see the 1/2/3 in order.
E+0 comes with SRAM Centerline rotors which are not really thick.
I highly suggest switching to the new SRAM HS2 rotors which are thicker and throw in some MTX ceramic brakes pads for optimal performance.
I'm not running any bashguard on mine and each time I rub on something it's the motor...
Not sure about that color either, wow! The dark red E+2 also has bright red Giant logos on it also which is kind of looking strange.
Were you able to find the 2023 bikes on a specific country Giant's website ?
I don't see why Giant would have an infinite supply of 2022 E+0 Phantom Green frames, they will most likely switch to the 2023 frames.
Looks like 2023 top of the line model will be the E+1 and it's a silver/pink color, not as classy as the green 2022 frame...
So E+1 is the new E+0, bikes were pretty much the same anyway, the only real difference was the carbon wheels otherwise it was down to user preference with a Shimano vs SRAM drivetrain/brakes.
Huge letdown from Giant to spec Code Rs on their top of the line 2023 model, should've been Code RSCs...
Giant is releasing their 2023 line up in some countries, road bikes are up on Japan website but no sign of their 2023 MTB line up online yet. Please post everything you find online about 2023 Reign E+ in this thread.
As of now I only managed to find one picture of some 2023 Reign E+.
Reign...
Giant started to release information regarding their 2023 eMTB line up.
I only managed to find two pictures as of yet, but please post everything you can find about their 2023 Trance X E+ line up in this thread.
We can see updated colors for their 2023 Trance X E+ line up for both aluminum and...
Found a picture of some 2023 Reign E+ models.
Looks like there's a new weld in the area where 2022 frames are cracking.
Does that mean that all 2022 frames are doomed and that the replacement frames people on here received is not the revised version ?
Recently swapped my regular cable GX RD for a GX AXS as SRAM have them on sale right now.
You really have to try it to understand, shifting is so fast and precise. Crisp shifting all the time and the shifter is actually nice to use, love the clicking on the paddle.
Only major issue with it is...
I believe Giant pretty much sold out all of their 2022 Reign E+. LOTS of Trance X E+ / Advanced available right now however.
I guess they will soon anounce the 2023 models and usually when Giant anounce a new bike it's available rather quickly, I expect 2023 models to be shipped by the end of...
Looks like 800Wh will be the perfect size, awesome from Giant to have rolled out this battery with great retro compatiblity.
I'm currently riding with 2x625Wh batteries and most of the time I was using +-800Wh total.
I will sell one 625 if someone is interested!
Nice to see you guys with new frames, it's somewhat special to see the E+0 with no Kashima suspensions...still looks awesome!
My Reign E+ is now almost 1300km with no cracks and if the new frames have the same weld on the downtube I guess it was batch related and they sorted it out, great news!
That is false as all new gen eMTBs from giant have 400% assist, LTD and 0 have the same motor.
Trance X E+ LTD is now on Giant's website, 507 units limited worldwide...no more embargo. Bikes are already available in bike shops.
That bike is truly amazing and the price is pretty good for what...
I would suggest MTX Gold ceramic pads, they last a long time and improve overall performance of the brake.
Code Rs have great stopping power, but lever feel is below average and looks like it's not easy to find someone that is able to bleed them properly.
When you say Giant have no solution, did they try to repair it ?
Did not see any issue like this from the owners I've met and my bike is now 1200km without a single issue.
It's just getting a little bit tiring to read that guy saying that the Reign E has cheap paint job, cheap looks, cheap components, bad suspension & makes him slow.
I believe the guy truly hates his Reign E and can now move on ;)
You sound like the type of guy always blaming his bike when not performing,...maybe you should get an S-Works Turbo Levo to truly embrace the premium eMTB life and stop complaining about everything.
