Works like a charm............ I ordered one a few months ago for a similar operation, but ended up with 3 because I allready had them. They're in te Reverb Stealth packaging as standard so be aware of that ;-) You yourself or someone near probably has one if you need one :geek::giggle:
Assuming you take the battery for the model of bike you take it is NO PROBLEM at all. I don’t know wher the story of it being a problem with Specialized comes from but that is just not true as well.
Don't ask me about the physics but actually the braking forces can be isolated in this way so that the fork won't dive under braking.
Ask any BMW GS owner. Has a parallelogram-like solution (just as the 'old' Girvin forks). Under braking a GS will not dive as to a regular motorbike fork will.
Many ways to make a bike more nimble....due to other reasons I put a 35mm stem and a 40 mm riser bar in 780 width.......love the nimbillity (?) with the same angles.
Errr...few things in the mix here?
The OP just asked if it was a good idea/possible to go tubeless with the Butchers....yes/yes I think. I don’t see ‘downhill’ anywhere? (I see he rides singletracks a lot...so just fine)
Then it is IMHO not a problem to go tubeless in downhill/Enduro...I rode...
Why is that? Every sensible tubeless rider has an inner tube with him/her ‘in case of’...big ripture or anything. Milk in thas case doesnt do the job. And in case of a big rip in a tire you have the same problem with an innertube....improvise!!
I would not do it!
1-This is a fairly light XC oriented wheel set not very suited for E bikes
2- I m quite certain you are not using a RS 1 fork (certainly don’t know an e-bike that has one (ore any bike for that matter since the reputation is quite bad)
Stretching inside corner arm, outside corner shoulder towards handlebar, body axis more a less straight up.....just like when cornering a motorbike. Has nothing to do with weight, HP etc.
NB your advice ' keep practicing' was indeed far more valuable.
Lean the bike, not the body.....that is where moto style comes from (same technique as on a motorbike)
Many people ar still new to the 29'er world, on a 29er you need to push your bike down more (hence the wider bars for more leverage) than you had to on say a 26.
Indeed the geo of a Levo...
I have a 40mm rise with a 31mm stem so shorter and higher is not possible (due to an arterial condition) and didn't experience any washouts, not even with the Butchers (not a fan but OK enough)
Maybe to as what Sherman points out; don't know about your experience on bikes and specifically on...
This all does not change the fact that e-bikes intended for off road use are exempted......so in a juridical way a person who de-restricts his/her bike and mainly rides off-road (easily to prove with logging) is not acting illegal. It is literally the text in the EU law, you can like it or...
According to European Laws an E-MTB is excluded from type approval and therefore is allowed to exceed all speed limitations. Or as it is stated; bikes for competition and bikes primarily intended for off road use (in my book MTB's)
You can look it up in the white paper Rules regulation on...
Whether you'll notice is to find out....bigger question is, what is the reason for wanting to do this? Comfort, geometrie, lack of length?
In general you can assume that a longer stem gives you a more sluggish but also more vague character (your bike that is ;)
It is not coincidence or fashion...
Still.......de-restriction and motor tuning are 2 completely different things.
De restriction is not allowed by EU and/or local laws. Motor tuning can harm the motor and understandable that Spec wants to safeguard that. However in a legal way, it is impossible for them to void warranty because...
I know....and I'm still trying to find out WHAT has been said  An issue about a battery and covered km's....might just as well have nothing to do with this topic
I don't have an issue with my keyboard...do you?
If all this was true then Specialized would know where all our stolen bikes are.
Furthermore Specialized would have to give me a damn good explanation why they are not liable for guarantee in the case of charging cycles and covered distance and show me the figures on which they base their right...
