The paint is nearly done. Time for rest of the stuff.
Just wondering if use included headset or there some other options.
Standard cable routing would be way easier.
So I dress the wheels up with Martell/Agarro and done about 60km over quite a rough stuff.
Wheels are damping rough surface very well, no harshness, very smooth ride. IMHO way smoother than Elite 29pro carbon wheels and definitely smoother than DT350+EX511+race spokes combo I have.
Side to side...
HI
Before I will assemble my first e-bike frame I will need some wheels. Decided to go ahead with Newmen A.30 SL rims (hookless design) as they suppose to be as strong or even stronger than DT EX511. Gave it a try and I am very happy with the result.
BOM:
- 2x A.30 SL rims
- set of ZTTO M1...

I am just wondering if it would be possible to update frame to suit the new type of the speed sensor. The one that m820 motor is supplied with, so we can use brake disc magnet instead of spoke magnet.
There is nothing to fix IMHO. Bikes are new, let the warranty deal with that. Please be aware that whatever unauthorized action You do, shitmano warranty will turn back on You (that is pretty sad).
My H30 have mt410 shimano hubs, cup n cone, took them apart only once for service, after 1.6kkm outer bearing in the hub packed up. Other than that they are in perfect shape.
Just for curiosity, how to wire up LED light output to the M820 motor. Could not find any diagram. There is no separate LED light output plug in the motor.

That is why I turned my back at the shimano emtb and decided to DIYe-mtb as a next bike.
I like the way power is delivered by EP8 but lack of support, no parts, availability, price and hassle to get the new motor simply = NO NO NO NO NO NO once more NOO MORE.
I think, I will just cut and extend SPD sensor cable length and rute it with a brake hose. I do not like cable hanging down bellow the suspension arm. Just wondering if there are any suitable plastic/rubber grommets for the frame holes ?
I have to do a bit of the study there as the sensor which came with my motor have 8 pin connector. Sugested SR SD021.01 sensor have 4 pins + a bit different shape of the connector itself, so it might not fitt. But I think there should be no problem to use the new square sensor on the existing...
Got the motor kit, but seller forgot to putt the display and remote in the box :(
Waiting for the battery and frame. Motor is quite small, or I have big hands.
Jim
M820 kit comes with 40T sprocket, did You used this one in the test bike ?
