It's def the Wild. I froze the vid and the frame has the same lower bracing. If they went 485-490 Reach on the Large I'd think about getting one. Doesn't seem like the E-Rallon I'm waiting for will ever come.
I run XT 8120's and they work just fine. 7120's are the exact same caliper w/ a different finish. I run 220/203 rotors and got you by 70lbs. TRP's are pretty nice though... I've got a set of 7120's that were take offs on my Rail. I was gonna run them on my Deviate Claymore build, but...
I run a 8.5x2.5" DHX2 coil on my H15. About 1k miles on it, 5k on a DHX2 on my Rallon. I'm not a jumper but 5-6ft drops with ease. I don't experience hard bottom outs or blow through travel. Progressivity of the suspension is 20.68% @ 140mm of travel so definitely progressive enough for a...
Amazing write up, I'm usually pretty prepared but you def gave me a few things to add to the kit. I've actually never got a tubolito to make it back to the truck without springing a leak....too many tiny thorns in my tires from all of the thorns on my local out the door XC loop I guess...
If the Wild had a better geo from the start, I would have picked one up instead of my Rail.....Still would have ended up with my Rise. Still hoping they release a e-Rallon based off the RS platform.
Offset bushings are not required but I did test all 3 variations, 1 bushing/2bushings/no bushings and settled with 1 offset bushing as feeling was most balanced.
For me, I'm just under 6ft w/ short legs and long torso. It wasn't until bikes got longer w/ shorter seat tubes that finally could get a bike that fit. Old geo seat tubes I'd have to go medium but bikes would be so short I couldn't pedal standing up without feeling like I was sitting over my...
Yes, and has tokens to change ramp up like telescopic forks do as well. Head angle is exactly the same, axle is behind the stanchion so slackness is an illusion. Travel path is a rearward arc
Here is my Rise in it's final form.....for now. I tried a 2022 Fox 38 Grip2. and a 2023 RS Zeb Ultimate before deciding that neither feels as good as my Trust Performance Linkage fork. 178mm travel up front, 160 rear w/a DHX2 216x63. The Rest of the specs in my Signature. The Trust linkage...
Stack height on the OC dropper is terrible. I 'm just under 6' on a large long torso w/ short legs... w/ the 170 post slammed with saddle dropped my heels were off the ground sitting on the bike. I now run a 210mm dropper fully slammed. Oneup's Stack is an inch lower than the OC Dropper.
