Nice! I’m north of you in Red Deer so we know what Alberta winters are like. We received an epic amount of snow this past season and I'll try to eke out the few remaining weeks on the trails here before it's all gone. Recently took delivery of a Norco Bigfoot VLT and set off immediately to one...
A big howdy from a first time fat biker from Alberta. Took delivery of my '23 BF VLT 1 (900Wh) from the LBS and immediately rode it from there to the nearest single track. What a machine! This will be my winter ride exclusively so I have to eke out the few remaining weeks before the big...

Steep drop offs closer to the edge of this section aptly named 'The Spine'.
This grouse took a special interest in my bike prior to our departure.
More white goodness from the great white north. One half of the Riverbend Ring is groomed XC ski trails making it an ideal spot winter biking. It’s wide open so plenty of room to pick up a bit of speed. Just a nice way to get out for a Saturday morning ride.
We're still pretty much in winter mode here. This video was shot over the weekend on local single tracks using a GoPro Max 360 in Hero (Superview) mode.
Post editing with Max 360 test footage shows what one can achieve on a solo ride with a bit of gear.
I wear a set of Rudy Project Rydon slims with the RX optical docking system. I love how they fit as both the nose piece and temples are flexible allowing for customizable adjustments.
The tech at the dealer where I dropped my bike off discovered a corroded connector below the socket bracket which was likely the culprit to blame for the temporary shut down of my Trance. He thinks that all the connectors should be checked as a necessary precaution. Not sure if this is this is...
Power was on then off the moment the ridecontrol unit was activated. I have no idea what the problem was as the bike appears to have come back to life on its own. According to the shop, no error codes were registered including the battery. Rode it for two hours straight this morning on some...
I left my Trance on Monday with the dealer and was waiting on a new wiring harness for it. I was advised today that the bike had powered up as normal and all readings checked out fine when it connected to the software diagnostic tool. Go figure. I picked it up an hour later and plan to go for a...
Hey Dave, we're you able sort out the issue with your Stance? I'm having similar problems with the RideOne Control unit powering on briefly then it's lights out a moment later. Will be dropping my Trance off at the dealer on Monday.
Nope. I use one of these as a prop/stand. Surreptitiously placed in the right position and angle, you can create the same illusion.
