I edited my post to add some suggestions that will save you money and make your bike more suitable but will cut and paste it here as you may have missed it.
If you do stick with this bike though you can run a much more suitable. hard wearing and economical (but in many ways superior)...
Sorry but with the very greatest respect this is a bit of an odd rant.
Presuming you are riding say five days out of seven for 52 weeks a year = 40 miles every single day and you're complaining that you've gone through one tyre and a few drivetrain and brake consumables??
And somehow it is...
Which dealer? The onus (and your contract) is with them not Sram and the time you have been quoted is unacceptable.
I'd expect them to take one from a stock bike for you.
There is so much rubbish talked about modern sizing - huge reach is not for everyone nor is a tiny stem with no weight up front. So many people buying bikes too long for them.
The only way to know is to try the bikes and see how *you* feel, no one can tell you which size will fit you...
I think you're missing the point and maybe getting confused with the user being allowed to set the circumference (no longer possible) and the dealer doing it (still possible).
Not sure why you would need or want assistance at anything approaching 34 mph?? - you'd probably be spinning out long...
Who told you this please? Yes, we know the owner cannot change in in MC but according to the Blevo guys @PaoloBLEvo @Maastricht the dealer can still change the circumference to a minimum of 2000.
If this has been removed then that is very silly as assuming a blanket 2300 circumference takes...
Wait for the new Bosch. Then ride this, a Shimano motor’d bike and a Specialized with the Levo motor - see what you think. IMHO most EMTBs of a similar style/travel are pretty sorted now but the motor and software really separates them.
That's my point exactly. :) But it won't happen - sell shiny new things and keep the pace moving like nuts. TBF though it has to be at present (with EMTB's) - we will look back in amazement in ten years at EMTBs like we do now at the late 80's MTBs we used to ride... there is so much...
If we wait long enough (with 2023 bikes coming out in January 2022) everything will go full circle we can 'go back' one year and get back to proper model years or even the way the car industry does it:
"Here is the new model - sell it for say three years give it a LCI and then bring out the new...
Just mocked it up (as I don't have one) and that is mahoosive and a right PITA to lug around. Must be twice the length of the typical Shimano battery...
We're in the EU (still) - there are no customs/import charges to pay when goods move from one EU country to another. Different if you buy from outside the EU (USA) etc.
