I did the change and have rode it a few times, the weather here in the UK has been so wet that even though I have ridden every weekend I cant say I have really put it through its paces.
I also apologize as I have yet to take measurements of the new setup.
It is a normal tapered steerer and the...
Morning,
The weekend was the first time I used the Ride control app and I used it to map my ride. But coming towards the end of my ride and I was down to 1 led on the bar control so I wanted to view the battery percentage on the app, but I could not find anyway to go back from the Map page to...
So I have brought a Trance SX E+0 pro bike and I liked the idea of them ore basic RideControl, thought that it having no display was a good thing as less to damage. But I did find myself wanting to know the battery percentage. Yes this is a new bike so keen to know what is going on and over time...
HI,
I have a YT Capra CF PRo 29'er that has 180mm Factory Fox forks on it ( were 170mm but has the 10mm reducer removed ). So have the parts to try this, they will not stay on the Giant as I was the options to ride either bike. But would like to try and it would only take an hour to swap.
So...
HI, Not quite sure what you mean, but I think you think the SX E+0 pro has a 140mm fork on it. It actually has a 160mm fork as standard. So adding a 180mm fork will only be 20mm. But as sag is 30% so will be slightly more than a 160mm. So with the sag it is going to not be that much higher, yes...
Yes lots to learn. This will either be a horrible ride once done, or be ok. Either way whilst I have access to the parts then I might as well try it and see how it feels. I will try and measure as much as I can before and after the change etc, bar height, fork angle, seatpost angel etc and pass...
So I have had a Trace SX E+0 pro for a couple of weeks and so far it has ticked all the boxes. But I cant help feeling that the front is quite low, I expect that this is because I am use to a 29'er with a 180mm shox. So I am going to fit the 180mm fork as well as the 29in wheel and try that. It...
HI all,
Have just brought a Trance SX E+0 pro and it came with a 500lbs spring on the back, this is to firm so want to change it. But I can seem to find any details online about how long the spring is ? Any one know ? So I can buy one online ?
thanks
lee
I have a e+0 Pro and it has 2.6 tyres, the back would not fit a 29in wheels, Well may be it would if you had a 1.9 tyre on it, but whats the point in that ! But as Yielar said if you put a 29in fork on it then it would work at a Mullet. That's what the YT has done
Morning,
Recently got my trance and was looking at the app, seems to work fine. But reading more online that there is an app called BLEvo for Levo and Kenevo. I understand that this is for Specialized only but does any one know if there a similar app for Giant e bikes ?
thanks
