I paid full price for my SL Comp and I did switch to 27.5" all around (I'm ahead of the curve). I like how the bike turns and handles, no pedal strikes so far but I don't ride rock gardens.
Most electric vehicles warranty the $$$ battery for 8 years, warranty meaning that the battery capacity will not drop below 70% nominal capacity in that time. They do this by limiting full charge and discharge, just as Specialized (and the others) is doing. Btw, the warranty usually does not...
Most interesting and thanks for posting this! When I try to modify the URL for Como or Vado (or Levo SL) the new window wants a username and password. Any ideas of how to get around that?
My SL shows it is due for an update and if I can see what the update is I may (or may not) want to take it...
Now that the website has settled down the price is not ridiculous (just outrageous) at $4000 for the 4.0. That is not the big issue! The real kicker is I weighed our 2019 Como 3.0 at 47 lb, the "SL" is about a pound less with half the power. What is "SL" about this bike? Sure, it's a nice...
If mine was on its 3rd motor I might have a different opinion of Specialized. The Brose motor in Vados and Comos does not seem to have a problem with belt breakage or other Levo issues even though it is rated for the same power/torque.
I post on a Ford Mustang forum and it's the same: every engine/xmsn/suspension has a death rattle and we are lucky to make it home even though millions of these engines are out there running every day without problems. Then some posters install aftermarket parts to "fix" the problem only to...
Also posted in Levo "touch up paint" thread:
I was at the local Home Depot today and asked the nice paint dept person if she could match a color. She replied "sure, as long as it is larger than a dime". I asked "how about my bicycle?", she laughed and said "bring it in but not on a weekend.". I...
I was at the local Home Depot today and asked the nice paint dept person if she could match a color. She replied "sure, as long as it is larger than a dime". I asked "how about my bicycle?", she laughed and said "bring it in but not on a weekend.". I can't ride there (scary roads) so I'll...
It's not exactly the range, it's the gaps between gears. I ride in FL and it is FLAT so I don't need 50t, my analog bike has 11-27 and it's enough. I am looking to change to 11-34 or so to get smaller gaps between gears.
All the choices you listed are XD Driver body so at a minimum you have to change the driver body from your current HG or get new wheels. I am not happy with the shifting (or the cog range) of my NX but it looks like a lot of $$ (maybe $500) and a fair amount of work to change it. A forum...
Maybe, Sherwin-Williams Color Snap Match is supposed to be accurate and is $70. It reads the color and sends the data to your phone. The next one up that I know of is from DataColor and is about $350. I am going to talk to the paint people at Home Depot (when I buy some paint) and see if they...
Yeah, I'm not buying the "same dB" report either. I ride with Vados and a Como (same Brose as Levo) and they can easily hear my SL (on 35% Eco) while I can't hear a thing from theirs. Maybe the belt drive is a subsonic frequency. ;)
Take the bike to Home Depot for paint matching? ;) But really, one of the computer color matching scanners should get us pretty close. Specialized could give us the RGB/CMYK numbers.
