I bought my from my LBS transition dealer.. which also ordered from Fazua. I called Transition originally who told me to do that. It took a month to get it approx, I think they shipped from Germany.
Curious which one you used and if it works well. For general riding this doesn't seem to be needed but for commuting to the trail it seems like a good idea, the bike is much harder to pedal at the same speed as my trail bike on the road and feels a bit slow vs cars and other riders (which, funny...
clicking in the motor area is common in this bike and it does take removing the motor cleaning greasing and reinserting + torque to spec w/ locktite (not terrible but kinda annoying). much better without clicking though.
i tow 165 and 210lbs riders ex. bikes + my 180lbs and im usually in pink. tow works but its much slower than full power bikes.if both riders were like 140lbs i imagine its a lot faster. 165 to 210 makes a huge diff for example - i can use blue sometimes with the 165 guy but not really...
you pushed the button inward for too long :)
scrolling green, blue, purple are all "turbo" mode'
scrolling white is "walk mode"
because the control ring is on floating magnets, dirt go in and make it sticky .. which makes this more likely to happen. i find that cleaning it + blowing air in it...
The bash ring is a separate piece - but it takes a special chainring, so yeah, wouldn't work. With that said its also a fairly heavy thing and your mileage may vary. I did hit a few times on it so far, which is more than i normally would, not sure why, the bike is low but not that low. Either...
not addressed to me but i rode both and i like both, they feel fairly similar, the relay pnw mullet being a tad more playful in practice (which can be good or bad depending on your preferences). id be happy with either bike geo wise and suspension wise personally. some differences, but same type...
would absolutely recommend the relay pnw over regular relay if you terrain allows it (fort williams and the area seems great for that).
i was a bit of a die-hard 29er, but after swapping the relay between full 29 and mullet im a mullet guy for this specific bike. it helps with the rear feel...
alloy+nx on this bike is a bit of a no-no for me, but the gx versions onwards are great. I got the transmission xo1 on sale a while back for the.. same price its at right now, would recommend it.
I imagine that if they update the Relay (and my bet is they will), that this may change:
-...
Update: Parktool now has the proper distance on the axle/crank tool... LRT-5 Lockring Tool — Fazua® Ride 60 (LRT-5, released today), which should really help with servicing the bike
mines slightly wet. the way the battery is mounted its not a big deal unless you fully submerge the bike imo but yeah. i guess youd need a gasket, or a much better panel (or both, probably).
i assume a relay v2 will fix this one day. i pondered making my own door in carbon w/ 2 rubberized...
note that its normal for the "bolt" in the crank to be loose when off the bike. not normal for the crank to be loose on the bike. it can be several things (cant realy see it on the video), in order of what id consider likely:
- the aluminum sleeve is no longer bonding to the carbon (in my...
idk man, maybe the 2 kenevo sl 1 i tested had very worn motors (they were demo bikes afterall), but i'd be curious why specialized would want an sl2 with 20-30% more power and why theres so many sl in stock that they dont even sell the kenevo sl2 in the usa yet.
As steep as it gets without slipping - at some point the SL1 motor + the bike weight makes it harder to get up the hill than a ~14kg like a high end transition spire or similar enduro bikes. Either way, a bafang will have more power, so I think OP has a point. AFAIK such a frame for a M820...
some ppl ride a kenevo sl on fire road and are happy but that's not really what the bike is for. all bikes work. would still not recommend any SL1 unless you're very light. I'm 83kg. i can climb on a kenevo sl 1 until it gets really steep (at which point its easier to climb on a regular bike!)...
