I changed both chainring and cassette (on a Specialized) and did not notice any change in motor output. Maybe Bosch does this, ymmv...
If you really want to use the larger chainring you could maybe space it out 2 mm. This would alter the chainline but only by about one space or less.
"60 NM" is kind of like saying my car has 570 Nm (it does) : there are more specifications required if it is to mean anything. At what pedal angle is the maximum torque delivered; what is it at other pedal angles ?; at what RPM ?; for how long ?...
60 Nm is nice but without a few more...
I print at home in PETG for most bicycle parts but for parts that need to be really strong I send it to Shapeways for nylon SLS. Here is a pump mount I made for my Levo SL (PETG on Prusa Mini)
Interesting that the 3.0 has a 50 Nm motor while the 5.0 has 90 Nm. They should sell well since they do "everything" for those who only want to have one bike for road and trail (do everything ok but nothing really well).
Ego Power has several sizes of batteries and two inverters. Their "Nexus" is probably overkill but it is also pure sine wave which most chargers recommend. The 7.5 AH battery has about 420 WH so two of them should fully charge an empty Levo battery.
Our plan is to ride a 68 mile roundtrip...
The dealer said "wow, I've never done this before" but I think he was just having some fun with me. He wonders why I have changed most of the things I have anyway (handlebar width; wheels/tires; chainring; cassette; ...).
"I really am not convinced riding in these low power modes keep you any fitter, I think its just slower. "
Agreed! My heart rate is the same as on my analog bike except I am going 14 mph instead of 10.
I have a Levo SL and really like it. The power is enough but the only hill here is the...
Not sure about programming, both Vados I ride with had the TCD replaced (from the old version) under warranty and were done by the dealer at no charge.
You may not get many responses since this is a MTB forum, the bikes do not even come with a TCD. I ride with Vados and a Como so I have some familiarity with the TCD. A response on Specialized's website notes that after the tabs broke off the owner had to buy a new $90 TCD, :( I don't know...
12 speeds wasn't a concern, the big gaps between gears was. Going from 11-50 to 11-32 gave me a lot of 1 tooth jumps so it is easy to maintain cadence. If the 11-32 was available in 12 speed I would have bought it and saved a lot of work and $$. ;)
Topeak makes some nice air pumps, their Race Rocket MT is a good compact one for MTBs. But not for Levo SL, the mounting bracket does not fit the frame. :(
But I have a 3D printer and time on my hands so I made a new bracket. And it almost fit. Model 2 fits perfectly! :)
It also...
I would go for the return/replace option. It sure seems like Specialized is not helping much so they should send you a new bike. Over here we have a lemon law (for cars) that notes if it spends more than 30 days in the shop the manufacturer has to buy it back. Bikes should get that too, yours...
