    Relay Tips / Tricks

That sounds weird. Wobbly inside the motor threads or wobbly inside the frame holes? In most cases the creaking comes from the sleeves the threaded blocks slide into on the drive side of the bike. Not the bolts themselves or the bolt / frame or motor / frame contact points.

That's my guess, assuming it happens when out of the saddle.

She does PPF (Paint Protection Film) wraps and custom artistic wraps as well. It's amazing how well the PPF will protect the bike. This is not everyone's cup of tea but it's a statement piece on her own bike showing what is possible with vinyl. It's vinyl wrapped and then covered with...

    LETS SEE YOUR RIDE FOOTAGE

Last week my GF got invited to a Redbull whip off at Ride Rock Creek in North Carolina. Here is a clip of her winning whip while riding the PNW Relay. Bike images here --> TR Relay - Full custom wrap Super proud of her. She had never seen this jump before the competition and has never hit...

yeah, same as my Phoenix 29. My GF vinyl wraps bikes for a living and oddly enough I was disasembling a relay last night. After pulling the main rocker link off, it was apparent a small rock had been lodged between the rocker and seat tube at one point. Gouges on each part about 1mm deep.

why not just cut an old tube (what are those?!LoL) to the shape you want and get some ultra thin double stick tape?

    Charging station

best I can do from the office. Basically just a wall mounted metal tray to hold the chargers. Power supplied by the power strip built into the tool box. Just lay the batteries on the top of the tool box and when not charging, the magnetic wires from the charger stay neatly attached to the...

Mine is fairly similar, no pics as of now. But simple is good. 🤙

    Relay Tips / Tricks

Interesting turn of events this weekend regarding this issue. Saturday morning, battery inserted in the GF's bike. Shook the bike, dropped it, slapped the saddle, actuated the dropper... all things that would cause it to turn off the previous Sunday. All good. Rode it around the parking...

TR Relay - Full custom wrap

LoL. Good thing it’s clear ride wrapped over the vinyl. 😬 This one is as about as expensive as it gets. Lots of design time, most expensive vinyl, and somewhat tedious to install. So, in the ball park of $1800-$2000. The vinyl alone is about $700 and there is over 15hrs into the design and...

TR Relay - Full custom wrap

And it's double sided since you can only see one side of the bike at once. LoL There is another party trick, the wrap is reflective. So naturally, I had a little fun with light painting.

Transition Relay Owners how's the bike?

Just got one in the mail for my GFs relay. Reach wise she is around 405 but she wanted the 29er front wheel. So she got the small. With the reach adjust and shorting the stem from the 40 to the 32 we're knocking 13mm off the reach. Thanks for recommending it here. Gonna install it some...

Transition Relay Owners how's the bike?

I am about 75k on a PNW medium with the stock PNW tires. Also, that area has mostly hard packed climbs or packed gravel roads. (I'm sure all of that makes a substantial difference) Though, I do pop it into Rocket when climbing on a gravel road.

Walk mode needs help for sure!! The boost would be nice too. Might actually use it more if that's the case. Incidentally, I figured something out about the boost mode. If you're stopped and select the boost mode, the bike will not start the timer to shut off until you start pedaling...

Transition Relay Owners how's the bike?

Interesting. I went back to Strava for details of one of my first rides on the Relay in Bellingham. Got 25 miles and 3600ft of climbing. I remember clicking down to one light right about when finishing up because we were contemplating whether or not we could ride back to the house with the...

Transition Relay Owners how's the bike?

A larger capacity battery in the same form factor would be nice, but I'm not sure I need a range extender? Do you guys run out of juice on rides? I pretty consistently get about 32-35 miles out of a single charge. But that is in a place with hardly any elevation. It's been a year since I...

Maybe the range extender gets it's own "cage" of sorts and is mounted to the underside of the top tube?

    Relay Tips / Tricks

yeah, bud. Done it all. I bend the battery clip from the back so that it barely touches the battery when inserting it to make sure it has the tightest connection possible. I have re-organized all the cables and replaced all the zip ties to ensure optimum placement and to ensure they are all...
