Yep thats what i use or uber race matrix pads (white) as they have thicker pad material and thinner back plates that give great lever feel.
Why whyte didnt go with guide re i dont know, got them on my vitus and they are awesome.
Bought a pair of these from this recommendation and what a revelation warm dry feet and clean shoes! Used both in the mudfest that is epping forest and countless puddles and rain yesterday in lashing rain. They do look a bit dorkish but any fool can be wet and cold.
My only reservation is how...
Yeah i was very disappointed as i had done alot of research and reading reviews. The way the hood stowed was awful and would pull up on the back of the jacket thereby shortening the hem at the back, but after using it 3 times in 30min thunderstorms and finding my chest arms and pockets soaked it...
I went for the mt500 earlier in the year and sent it back, as i found it awful for waterproofness, worse than my singletrack jacket. I do think endura have lowered their quality as earlier endura stuff i bought felt much better. I bought the leatt dbx 5, much better for keeping out the elements...
For trail planning i use O/S maps and transfer the file to garmin. Thats for all the natural trails i go to. Only been to a bike park twice and didnt really feel it was for me (no skills). I bought the good mountain bike guide which covers all england and wales, it gives detailed routes that you...
I wear the sealskinz all weather gloves. Wore them in the middle of storm alex on dartmoor. I wouldnt say they were completely waterproof mind you it was bucketing down for hours but they did keep my hands warm even when soaked. Ive had them since last winter and normal rain they are fine and...

Well cable reroute done, and very easy to do, also fitted new shimano xt cassette, derailleur and shifter and now silky smooth reliable shifting. Just have to wait til weekend to try the new 11speed.
Well done a good few rides now and i am getting used to the motor characteristics, there were a couple of 24 milers over dartmoor with one into the last bar and showing 2 miles left in eco, so high battery anxiety on that and there was 3000ft in climbing but very wet and mud sucking conditions...
2019 e sommet vr and 2020 whyte e150rs and 2014 stumpjumper, also 1999 triumph daytona and 1983 mk1 golf gti g60 both of which i dont use anymore... i am a hoarder
I do ride footpaths and show other users respect and never had a problem. What you need to understand is the difference between footpaths and bridleways. Bridleways will have gates that swing open. Footpaths will have a mix of gates that swing open, kissing gates and styles, the latter 2 can be...
Thanks highpeaks rider but at 56 im no spring chicken, just think eco is utterly pointless in its level of assistance, so range is no better than a 504wh shimano
