If the new bike is announced in May or June, it will not be released until Fall, or early winter. It will follow the same predictable model of 12 to 15k USD to launch, then follow a lower cost model 3-6 months later. It will have many cool features such as smaller or larger battery option...
I love my Rise, but have to say Bosch is about 5 years behind Specialized as for the controller unit. Albeit an huge improvement over the left handlebar unit which is embarrassing. Common Bosch, and this will be around since it's new. Ugh. OH, Shimano is not far behind. Just goes to show that...
No kidding. How is it that Orbea could be 4lbs off the Rise from "claimed weights". Why in the hell can't they just publish the weights as they ship from the factory. Take the average from 10 of the same models? I'm guessing a GX axs part won't vary that much from part to part?? You have the...
Buying a Levo SWorks Frame and so confused about the X2 Shock. Stories of failures galore, rebuilds, warranty issues, and more. Can someone set me straight? I don't want to pay top dollar for frame (albeit, on sale), I just don't want to have issues on day 1, at least in my mind. Does the X2...
I am wondering how many of us take too much time examining the 400 grams saved by using the TQ motor, and the .5 degree head angle adjustment, the XO casting vs the XO+ advantage and let's not forget the wireless dropper post. We all know it's like latest iphone.. yes, it's better but does it...

The new motor includes the EN600 wireless control, which has allowed the Orbea engineering team to remove the old LED reader, which was situated on the brake hose. This remote contains the power button, allowing Orbea to remove it from the frame and thereby improve seat post insertion. As usual...
Interesting bike. I too as an owner of a Carbon m10 let out a sigh of relief... nice update but not an overhaul meaning the geo and basic premise meets the approval of the marketplace for at least the next few years. Yes, just reaffirms your purchase was a good one! As for the battery, it would...
Well said, and my fear as well. I thought a light powered e might be the perfect solution until I realize that I'm having trouble keeping up with my Levo friends in 1/2 my shape. Suddenly I fell like if your going to go for it, the it just may make sense to just go full throttle and go for epic...
Wonder if you can buy the 540s battery aftermarket? Interesting proposition yet I find that most of the rides I do run less than the full charge. It's a challenge to run without the motor as much as possible. If the battery is too much then forget it and buy the extender.. only the extra weight...
Really like the Voima Rob! Love my Rise in L, and thinking of adding the Voima to the fleet (lol!) as the perfect second Ebike. Does this combo make sense? One full fat, as a monster truck, and a Porsche Macan to feel nimble and light with the Rise. If done, then this does commit me to the...
funny thing about the ep8 that no one is taking about, but I had my motor replaced by Shimano and I don't notice the rattle as much. Thinking they did solve some of the early production issues.
I couldn't agree more, leave well enough alone. I can take my new motor and ride it until I need to bring it into the shop for maintenance, then I can let them do it. If it breaks, it's on them. Enough said!
I did via Bluetooth, and it's a waste of time. I thing directly from the PC is the best option. I'm going to avoid all updates via Bluetooth from now on. This was an issue on my first update. ugh
