I laughed at every blast! That'll cut through the earbuds.
I don't run into many folks on the trail but ring my bell and slow down and stop completely for horses as they access some of my locals. I'm never in much of a hurry so that helps. .
At trail speed, which in my case is half fast, anything is better than nothing I suppose. The problem I have is even the short bit of raod I have to ride to the locals at as fast as I can go to get off it soonest the spray from the front of the front tire has already wetted down my eyeware but...
I live in a wet climate and those would still result in a wet ass arese and mud in my eyes. I find that alot of water and crap is flung up and back from the front side of the front tire which is really hard to prevent admittedly and why eye protection is a must.
What psi are you running? At that depth you shouldn't need fat tires IMNSHO just go as low as you think you might be able to get away with, tubeless will help/ Studs help on ice and slick roots but don't have much effect on actual snow I've found.
I had to check that I was in the pic of the day thread before posting.....cause it was more like prick of the day while scrolling down
Clearcuts provide for nice views but are pretty ugly up close.and the logging roads are much fun to ride on. No traffic, and well nobody actually. My friend I...
Here's an idea. Bosch does away with their proprietary software and keeps the hack detection that will show when non allowed mods have been made, which voids the warranty. The owner of the bike signs off on this and then Bosch gets paid for their parts and service when something/anything goes...
For off road use only, wink wink nod nod. Luckily it's a mtb.
The Luna cult has been purveying high watt "ludicrous" power for a long time. Some get it, most don't because quite frankly there is such a thing as too much power when riding single track especially with any anticipation of range.
I just wonder why they are being so stingy with system access because it seems like the ability is there to have access just like any of the motors that currently do to tune the system? Especially as their kit models allow for lots of fiddling around and part of their allure in the past. I just...
An old riding buddy from CO goes to Arizona with his RV and rides MeDowell in late fall to mid winter and they have a couple hundred miles of trails there open to eBikes and he has ridden other spots to so not sure what your info source on no welcome mat is? As far as shops go they are off the...
An eBike is a learning experience best learned by having an eBike.. If you can find on in your size, color and components that add's up to a price you can afford you had better jump on it. Best as mentioned to buy locally no matter the brand and Spec's aren't that bad or else there wouldn't be a...
@Velociraptor I think it is hilarious that your perception of OR eBike haters is the same as the one I have about WA. I have ridden all over OR and Western WA and never heard a peep out of anybody but I mostly ride in the less populated areas and keep a low profile in general. I'll be in Bham in...
I'll bet that pisses the EMBA off, they have been pretty vocal about their distaste for them since day one. Has never stopped me from riding in WA when I'm up there though.
As a long time DIY guy the Bafang name doesn't bother me as much as it might some. But I also know that the company has some teething issues with their mid drive products and factory weirdness like the fact they don't allow motor tuning out of the box. When I first saw the M600 three years ago I...
I also find my reciprocating cordless saw to be handy for smaller diameter clearing jobs and less weight than my cordless chainsaw.
In the end it is the right tool for the job as usual and as my old red neck buddy Dalton used to say "If you are going to carry all that weight through the woods...
