I would seriously think about the hope wheel and hub. My rear bearings only lasted about 500 miles before had to be taken apart, then another 200 miles later needed new bearings. I was the opposite to you as rim was fine, but the labour to re lace the wheel and new bearing was not worth it. I...
Why don’t you get a hope wheel and hub I think you can get for about 260 built. Then if you have any other problems you can get hub parts really easy as that will be next thing to fail as oem parts on lower budget Models are rubbish.
There are other brands that do wheels to but I found hope to...
My other half has this bike and is loverly apart from the suspension I rode it yesterday and the forks felt like they are made of wood. I am sure it was not like that when she got it. She is Pretty light and only rides it very cautiously. Bike has only done 300 miles
I might let bike shop...
Thanks for sharing.
When I saw the headline I thought oh no my bike is going to be out of date now.
after watching it I am glad I have a 21 model at least my bike is carbon and they seem to have lowered the spec apart from new motor and battery made the bike even more mellow.
I had the same issue only way could get the first bike on was to clamp around the shock which I did not think was a good idea. I always used to recommend Thule, but there customer service is shocking, they was not interested as purchased from halfords
in the end I bought a longer arm and moded...
I bought my other half a haibike hard tail with Yamaha motor and was ok for while then had an issue with the battery which kept coming loose so bike kept cutting out.
I Paid on my credit card so got them to exchange it for an Merida which touch wood had been fine .
I can’t remember which...
I think you could 10 to 20 mm no problem as you are ajusting the geo on your bike by having longer travel. You may be able to adjust the travel On the fork to closer to what you are running now.
I am sure that someone on here will be able to give you better advice than me. But if they are only...
I had a set of rl gold on my bike as standard to honest think they are a nice fork but do suffer from a little bit of sticking on the stantions
how much are you paying for these forks ?
Welcome to another Cannondale owner
what is that seat look like a witches nose. I have never seen a seat like that before
so why the change to Shimano ?
I don’t think anyone can answer that as every bike is different but as a guide I would use same links as you now unless you you are running a different cassette or front chain ring axs is same as normal rear mech just without cables
You will love the axs once fitted
I appreciate it is quite difficult to do an exact comparison but for me there was to many variables.
The giant bike would have almost be locked out suspension, so would have made more than a second difference easily. I have never rode a giant bike so could not say 100%
I have only rode the...
I have Bosch motor in my bike and my partners bike has ep8. The bosch feels much more powerful, and power is instant on the Bosch where I find the EP8 needs more cadence to get best out of it. The EP8 feels more natural and is easier to wheelie, but the Bosch feels much more powerful. On the...
I alway ride in turbo ! when my bike was in the shop and printed this out report which I found quite interesting! My bike had down 680 miles most of which was in turbo no shock there , but what surprised me was 276 without assistance. The only time I have rode without motor on ,is...
Thanks all for all your replies and insight.
I have just dropped my bike at the LBS and I have opted for it to be screwed in place. I have managed with my Purion display been bolted to the handle bars. I did want to use the lock feature when removed from bike bust seem like a few people have...
