Yet another problem with my brand new (3 rides) rail.

Let me add that the most common problem on e-bike dropper posts is the routing of the cable. If it's taking some kind of sharp turn around something or slightly pinched and some manner it will be misery until fixed.

Levo SL Gen 1 Levo SL Pedals by itself and then fails

If I had a 12 yo young shredder child reading this I would want you to follow decorum. Are you also the type of person that swerves around me on the right on the interstate at 95 mph, has your front windows tinted so no one can see what you are up to and does other aggressive things to get to...

Yet another problem with my brand new (3 rides) rail.

Very few mechanics can disassemble a dropper post and figure out what's wrong with it. According to my buddy , who does understand it, all these posts are basically similar but with different specifics. Ya gotta find someone who actually understands what's up or failing that get one of the more...

    Fantic nightmare

Maybe I'm not following this correctly. So 1. there is some kind of defect in a cable . 2. You just found 2 new cables that may be the solution . 3. If that is the solution and it works , what's the big deal at this point ? .4. is it you expected to be treated like you just brought your 150k...

Ex1 vs Shimano xt 12 speed

This is my last hurrah for my ex1 drivetrain. New smallest 3 cogs , new chain, new jockey wheels. I've already bought the 10 speed 11-46 deore cassette , shifter and will proceed with that when this cassette is toast. Right now post what's pictures the drive train is super solid.

Levo Gen 2 2021 Levo Comp Purchased...now what?

Take off the rotors, clean them with brake cleaner and 220 grit wet dry sandpaper , preferably glued to a square of 1/4" flat safety glass. Do the same for the brake pads. Retest before you spend more moola. Results can be impressive. It partially cures my desire to go to 220 mm .

    Most Durable Drivetrain

1030 sram na ... Read a bit on using 11 speed chain on 10 speed. Yes side plate is a bit thinner. Some people claimed or theorized that the 11 speed chain was more flexible and good for big gear ranges.....maybe.... As for medium vs long cage m8000 I must disagree. Ive run 2x 11 Shimano for...

Suspension Lockouts, does anyone actually use them?

I'm confused : my commencal came with a rockshock supercoil and a lyric select... Are you folks buying e bikes for 5k and above with cheaper suspension ? Yuch !! Why? Are you riding steep singletrack?

Suspension Lockouts, does anyone actually use them?

Open : careful climbi g rock gardens sitting because the more rear travel means more pedal strikes. My analogue and my commencal meta power feels better when the forks and shock have similar platform.

Just picked up a 2021 Trek Rail 7...first ride and big concern

So I've actually seen something almost exactly like that on my buddies new specialized. Somehow the assembly d a 203 spacer instead of a 200 mm spacer. Look at the rotor and the spacer and make sure both are either 203 or 200 mm. That's my guess.

Bike was stolen whilst in for repair

In the usa different insurance products are available at different price points. If it's " cost of replacement " then used or new you get a new bike. If it's fair value you get that. Most likely if the bike shop used customary accepted locks and security they were not remiss in the handling of...

Speed sensor to motor..wire doesn't lock in

Ahh.. so think about a replacement. There are 3 different lengths. There is a uk shop I bought the correct size ( commencal 540mm length). Most sites seem to only list the 1400 mm length. In fact I have shortened the two 1400 s I bought before I snagged a 540mm. I actually shortened them ...

You can find me on pickbike as cyclopath 1000. Find one of my buy sells such as the 27.5 lyrik on buy sell and if in...
