    Battery sleeve / Changing wheels?

Was in a hurry. 1) Read Here 2) I have a spare Nukeproof wheelset that I had road tires on until I broke a couple spokes snagging a root. Just needed to buy a magnet to attach to the rotor bolts. 3) All the way down is unpowered - thus 5 positions 1: U/P - 2: Eco - 3: Tour - 4: eMTB - 5: Turbo...

Please help me with advice - tyre pressures

I would suggest starting around 26psi front & 27psi rear as a starting point. Move up or down in 1 psi increments until you get the feel you want. Usually I find about 2 psi higher in the rear seems to work best but a couple guys I ride with are the same F/R or just 1 psi difference. As...

    eMTB shopping thought process

Get used to it. Bosch was first off the rank to provide a system that has 'anti-tamper' to adhere to the draconian EU regulations. Expect everyone else to follow suit or they will not be able to sell into the Socialist Union. I think you will find the Bosch Powertube is the same in all bikes...

    Bike prices up and why

Sales of all bikes are up and e-bikes especially so due to covid stopping a lot of people from doing their usualy gym workout. What does not surprise me is that prices have not come down. Looking back at several past trends when there has been a boom in cycle sales, prices also went up then...

    Tube or Tubeless?

Burps are why I changed back to tubes. That and because I change tires fairly often (even with 2 wheelsets) and I hate the mess involved. Saying that - I don't ride in an area with lots of cactus, boxthorn or bramble so I don't suffer from those spiny things causing issues. As I am a bigger...

Gawd .... hell no. A little thai basil and lemon balm in the butter. Had chive & parsley butter recently that thought would go well with trout. Use dill with Salmon and that could work with trout I guess. Above all .... delicate.

The lets BBQ on your woodburner thread ...

Da-aum @Beezerk - those look tasty. Sadly, here in NZ the butchers and supermarkets are ripping the hell out of people for the BBQ cuts. Spare ribs are like $25-30 and are mostly bone and gristle they have been trimmed so close to the bone. Seen baby backs like you started with last week...

Ummmm NOOOOOOOOOOO - that fish in your profile would be shite marinated in red wine - needs a white for that … or even better, a honey bourbon.

    Same questions, different day.....

Personally I would go for the Giant (I am 112 kegs). I prefer the Fox suspension and the Giant Maestro suspension system works bloody well. Saying that, the Focus has the Bosch motor and I really like the CX in my Scott eGenius. If you haven't been out on one yet then you have a few rental...
