Are they any good in wet conditions?
I bought the Endura MT500 waterproof glove but it feels like that the water gets through after some time in the rain. Not sure if I really like them. Also feels a bit too cold for my taste.
The line has the correct distance from the rim, that’s the first thing I checked when I deflated the tire.
Might be a production issue, therefore I contacted the retailer and asked for an exchange.
I took the Baron yesterday for a test ride (17km) and i am impressed with its performance. Conditions were really wet, 5 - 8 °C, mainly leaves and roots, little mud and some gravel roads. Looking forward to the next ride to get a better feeling for the setup.
However, I think i have an issue...
So funny story of a noob:
Yesterday i thought about changing my rear tire Nobby Nic for the Continental Baron and it was one hell of a experience! I am talking about the mounting process. :geek:
I believe i only changed once a tire so far and that was over 5 years ago. Never had a puncture so...
Morning,
not sure if it was already answered, but does the Action Team come with tubless ready wheels?
I was wondering because i changed the rear tire and i noticed a blue tape inside the rim. Do i need to take the blue tape off and mount a specific tubless tape?
Cheers
Morning guys,
Need your opinion again?
I m getting the Baron Project 2.4 today in 2.6” as a replacement on my cube Action Team for the Nobby Nic in the rear.
Now I am thinking to put the Baron in 2.6” in the front and switch to a Continental Trail King in 2.4” in the back.
Is the 2.6 front...
Good point. Perhaps it has something to do with personal preference or mybe some smaller tires dont fit properly on the same wheel? Dont know, maybe some just take the same stock size (2.6) because its easier or some just dont know better, like myself.
I personally havent tried...
I ordered the Baron Project 4 in 2.6" for the rear. :D
Cant wait to give it a try. If the handling is good, i'll also switch to the Baron in the front.
What are the experts thoughts on Continental tires? Is the Baron Project a good tire for fall/winter conditions? Or better stick to Magic Marry oder Maxxis Minion?
I'm still undecided what to do. Both tires got some wear because of high speed road sections and also some downhill gravel...
I bought this spiral wire wrap but i got it changed at the bike shop when i got my Fox seatpost back. Not sure which one exactly they used but i believe they're basically the same.
Yeah i've seen that before but wasnt sure about the quality of the Bottle (BPA free). Its actually a really nice concept. Probably the best solution for the Action Team. I'll give it a try.
Thanks for the tipp ! (y)

Not the best picture but I got my fox seatpost back and changed my grips...
@Mad Mark Super nice! I love mine (y)
Only thing i would change next is the rear tire and probaby shorten the handlebar to 800mm.
One question on the cup holder, does the bottle fit without any problems? Looks really tight.
I tried the Cube HPP Sidecage with a Camelbag bottle and it didnt fit
So what are your latest purchases?
I really like the Fox Attack line but the prices are pretty steep. Considering to buy the Attack Fire Jacket or Pro Fire Jackt as a top layer for dry and cold conditions. The Pro Fire is nicely insulated with Polartec Alpha. I tried it on, fit is nice and...
