Point taken, Misterrr Hodge. Some scheduled maintenance will be in order. On a second thought... just maybe... I can justify some new shiny ‘footballer wheels’ and hubs [emoji41]

    BHF - London to Brighton

This is the dilemma. HT off road will finish my butt off... the 16 mph doesn’t worry me... but the hill with 45 miles in the legs does call for ebike treachery [emoji12] I think I need to do some measurements and careful planning

    BHF - London to Brighton

PhilBaker , I have heard that most people ride on hard tails, so the terrain cannot be too difficult, except for the DB climb. Is that correct and fair assumption? I want to do it on eMTB, but analogue HT might be a more intelligent proposition [emoji36]

    BHF - London to Brighton

I have set my motor assistance to the lowest settings and I am experimenting with the range, as I regularly ride without motor assistance, on a flat or downhill. How is the L2B terrain? Lots of hills? The problem is that my new bike supposed to land in July, with new/diff battery, so I have to...
