I have experimented with a few... the best to date are RockBros 2018-12A
Oversized pedals at 13.5x12x2cm, these give me phenomenal grip, however, I do have more pedal strikes when riding through narrow tracks.
I think it’s all about how much is it worth to you.
I started with a modest budget bike of ~ €4800... I good hooked and now I want new one with better spec at ~ €7000.
In my mind it’s worth every cent and I don’t see the need to pay any more than that... for now [emoji12]
Good call! You will enjoy it... especially with the US-market setting.
When I ride with my analogue buddies I often turn the motor off-and-on (eco) to get better workout on a heavier machine.
You are lucky to have ebike friends, you will not have to hold back or switch-off the motor unnecessarily.

I had my OEM brake pads replaced after 800km and new set last just over 200km. The LBS told me they fitted a better quality pads. I am not convinced.

Now, my question is, what is the value of RnD, logistics & profit margin that Ducati and THOK make on this bike. If it’s 55% then it will be duty free. No?
Following this thread feedback I got a Charge Spoon. It is a little harder than my OEM saddle, but ergonomically correct... will test-ride this weekend!
I am planning to import new bike from EU.
I am told by the seller that they will sell it to me ex-VAT, as UK is now outside of the single market and I will pay local VAT in UK, on arrival.
I was under the impression that there is no import duty from EU, as we have a ‘free-trade’ agreement.
