Getting to know the new girl... inside and out ;)
Rainy days are for wrenching! ?
I don't know if it's just me, but a new bike doesn't really feel like my own until every bolt is properly greased, threads loctite, torqued to spec, the fork has been redone with the correct amount of grease and...
It will not. I haven't measured, but I'm guessing it's about 190mm max insertion depth. My AXS 150mm fully inserted still has about 35mm to the collar. You'll have at least 55mm before the collar.
So I've got to ask, is anyone else on the preorder list for the EXT e-STORIA?
I'll admit, I'm a huge fan of AVALANCHE and worked with him a lot over the years (very stoked with the AVA-Bomber CR on my Gen2 Kenevo) but I'm anxious to see what EXT does for me and my riding style. This Fox X2 has...
I did set them up tubeless before my ride today and while they did seem to feel better, I was showing a new rider a local trail system (and it was his first singletrack ride). So needless to say there were no sending jumps or smashing berms, we were going at a snail's pace lol. But he had a...
After yesterday's ride, that's the first thing I thought of... order new tires as soon as I get home. I wanted to like them, figured I'd give them a chance with the new rubber compounds, but the first corner I leaned the bike into they washed out (front and rear) and I almost went down lol. The...
Just to follow up in case others run into this. I tried removing my other Gen2 Kenevo from Mission Control, also deleted the app, and reinstalled it with no luck. My shop was able to get me right in and said the 42.6.1C did require the update from a dealer, but should be able to now do OTA...
I'm finally home from vacation and checking out my new bike, setting it up, etc. I noticed that the motor has a firmware update available, but I'm surprised that I do not have the option to do an over the air myself, it says I must take it to the dealer for the update (like we had to back in the...
What day is it?? It’s NBD!! Cheers ?

I also ran into this when trying to fit a 170mm AXS Reverb as deep as possible in my S3 Kenevo, hacked the bolts ends off to sink it in where I needed it to be. Anyone looking to do this, just be aware that the cables that run in the top tube, through the sidearm, and into the lower seat tube...
I'm very fortunate that Snowshoe is only a 3 hour drive for me. Being a season pass holder, I usually go about 8 times a year. The trails are world class which makes the drive worth it, for sure. Everything from fast flow trails, jump trails, to double black tech, and Pro lines. If you haven't...
The lift rides back to the top take about 8 minutes on the Basin side of the mountain, and about 13 minutes on the Western Territory. The wait in the lift line varies, sometimes there is none at all, others like a holiday weekend have been 2 hours, which is rough.
Even though I was sick as hell with a cold, I made the best of my vacation getaway.

I also have a set of NOBL TR38 with ASSEGAI's front and rear on my DH bike and have zero complaints. For me and my riding style, these are the perfect setup. On my trail bike, I run the same ASSEGAI front with a DISSECTOR rear for less rolling resistance. I did try E-Wilds on my Kenevo when I...
