Since updating to the new 85Nm firmware (1.1.0.0) my Rail is super eager off the line. Noticeably more so than even the Brose motor on a friends Levo that I rode recently.
I had it on my Rail when it was running the 1.0.2.0 version of the firmware and my bike shop made it go away by updating to 1.0.3.0 as this was a known fault of giving a false positive for motor tampering/hacking/derestricting (504 error).
Subsequently most people will have updated to at least...
Gotta agree with Philly on this one and I'm not sure I'd be comfortable still riding that given there appears to be broken fibres there. Sucks to be the original poster.
Have you had a look at the Tubolito tubes? About 1/3 the size of a regular tube at an only slightly eye watering cost.

I think I have found part of what I am looking for with the light mount linked below. Just need to machine up a 22.2 mm diameter piece to screw on to it to mount the Purion on.

I just stick it in EMTB mode and ride for 95% of the time. The only time I'll be dialing the power back will be on flat, easy trails where taking a hand off is not a problem.
To what though? Bosch has the same issue, Specialized are not exactly known for their reliability, Yamaha have water ingress issues. What am I missing? Brose (non-Specialized variants), Rocky Mountain?
Both appear to be carbon in the pictures on the German Trek web site

2021 Trek eMTB range has dropped at Evo and T7. List prices are NZD 1,000 more than 2020 but the higher end bikes now come with the Zeb, Super Deluxe and Kiox display.
The review below is what sold me on the Rail. I think it is fair and honest after having six months on mine.
