Received my Decoy Core 5.
Arrived in one piece and the only fault I was able to find was that whoever installed the dropper did a piss poor job.
He/she managed to not only pinch the dropper wire an make a hole in the housing, but also pull the housing free from the seat at bottom of the...
But this is not about backwards compatibility as the new "rd-m8150-11" and "rd-m8150-12" were released simultaneously.
I´m thinking it might be something mechanically that made them have to skip autoshift for the 12 speed.
@Backflip is correct.
If your cranks turn att the same speed as your chainring the calculation for speed and cadence is easy, and his calculation checks out.
If you are doing 110 cadence at 18mph on 29" wheels you should be at around 36T front x 22T rear.
For the calculations to be exakt you...
I wouldn´t worry about the studs coming out, only worry would be clearance. I think you´re fine as your bike comes with 2.6 tires, but it does depend on how much the studs protrude from the rubber on the 45 nrth´s.
Too bad they don´t include the 29" in their tire geometry chart so you could...
I´m curious to know why they only added auto shift on the 11sp Linkglide and not the 12sp Hyperglide?
You guys think they might release a firmware update in the future adding auto shift to 12sp?
In that case even more reason to size up imo. The only issue you might run into is that they increased the dropper to 200mm on the XL.
But the V2 dropper on the new bikes have adjustable drop if it´s too long.
I feel your struggle, I´ve been thinking back and forth between L and XL plenty of times before I made up my mind.
I´m waiting on my Core 5 size L. I am 5´10 with long legs and short torso.
I initially ordered size XL and was planning on swapping to a 40mm stem on it to reduce the seated reach...
That´s exactly what I was going to look into when I receive my bike. Removing battery and cable tie the plug on the inside so it can´t slip out again. Just wasn´t sure if I would be able to reach the plugs from the inside or if they stick out enough on the inside to get a cable tie around it...
