Given Pole is currently bankrupt/insolvent, they officially do not exist for the purpose of a running company. Whether they will rise from the ashes like a phoenix, I really hope so but who knows. Only time will tell.
Are you offended by what I said or what? Did I hurt somebody's feelings? Do I need to have exactly the same opinion as others? I say they missed the boat on this. Take it or leave it for all I care.
Yes. ZF is a transmission producer in the first place so it is disappointing to see that they did not design their equivalent of an MGU combined with otherwise a very compact and powerful engine. I guess I have had different expectations to yours.
One crucial info I wish to add here: at present time they are developing the bike with battery outside the FIT environment which, in my view, is good news. Personally I am annoyed with the manufacturers locking in their systems.
For me it is a total disappointment given the ZF's expertise with automatic transmissions in the automotive industry. I would imagine an integrated product conceptually similar to the Pinion MGU would get them a massive market response given the demand for Pinion MGU.
I ride both type of bikes and I have the following approach to this type of commentary: I do not give a f**k about it.
I do not call it hate speech and I have no desire for anyone to limit it. There is enough censorship around us and we do not need it anymore.
Let them say what they want...
@madre many thanks for your comments.
One more question: how tall are you to ride the XL frame (I am trying to see how the rider's compare to the Nicolai recommendations)?
Hi, could you perhaps write a little bit more about your impression of the bike, what you liked, what not, etc. Also, what size is that raw bike in the picture?
If I am not mistaken, at present time Nicolai will not sell to the UK given the battery system is not approved, etc. I would think this is just a matter of time before this is resolved.
They have been down for some time now. I agree, it is not a good sign but I still keep my hopes up. However, if nothing happens in the next 4-5 months, so 6 months after going under, then the chances of resurrection as decreasing.
