I personally wouldn’t bother with E8000 to EP800 conversion, unless I burned-out the old motor after warranty expires.
I ride mostly in 20-50% assistance. The extra Nm don’t excite me, unless you are riding at the rugged edge and you are able to utilise the extra torque.
At my level of...
I had cushcore at the rear for approx 1000km.
When I replaced the tyre, the cushcore lost all its form, it was as flat as an additional tube, just a little thicker on the thread side.
I didn’t have any puncture with cushcore, so it has done it’s job.
Nowadays I ride tubeless with snot/liquid...
Non-representative sample of two:
(i) Ducati MIG-S with E8000 and 500Wh battery
(ii) Ducati TK01RR with SP8 and 640Wh battery
On (i) I used to get comfortably 60km on one charge, theoretical range on the display was ~100km in eco mode.
On (ii) I get comfortably 100km on one charge. The display...
I ran into the new Porsche eMTB at my local OPC. I got to fondle it , but no riding.
My impressions:

2. EP8 motor - good choice
3. I really like the wheels design, would pref mallet size
4. It has 500Wh battery, and...
I have one of those as well… excellent carrier, my bike frame fits it perfectly. The only wish… would be to have a fixing/tightening handle a-La Thule, instead of flat-iron spanner.
I do get the desire to measure degradation of battery, and charging cycles is accepted unit of measure, however…
I am more interested how many km I can travel on the bike and battery charge.
Here are my numbers:
998km, 8 cycles, 100% health
@Zimmerframe , I recall you posted that you bought slick bar-ends that protect your outer fingers. I can’t find your post… it looked like turned-in short horns.
How are the bar-ends working for you?
I have longer horns but when I hit branches I have to muscle my handlebars straight...
Thanks @STM
I went to the woods with it last night… this is the best light, eva! [emoji102]
My riding buddy had an exposure next to me. When I switched to setting #4 my light flooded the road to such an extent that his light on the road became almost invisible.
I also like the fact that the...
